I see. It's really a double edged sword. The original story is just so short they need to make additional plot which bound to be irrelevant to the og story no matter how they change it and no matter how we view it (I really don't see the big fuss, other dramas done that too). BUT, on the other hand, WXY lacks creativity in creating new plots, so it turns repetitive and cliche (I can feel the fans distress). Same old story. It's definitely WYX problems indeed 😞

I just heard some rumor about it, and later the team changed the name from Wu Mu to Ru Mu, an entirely new character (I think this MDL page is a bit outdated, several new information hasn't been updated). Still tho, the cousin plot doesn't make sense unless Qinlan has another son. Or maybe Ru Mu is just another member of WQ clan. Well, how are they gonna explain this I guess we'll just have to wait till the show aired. I just hope the explanation makes sense bc I hate plot hole 😭 LiP is heartbreakingly beautiful, I like it. Yes, you're absolutely right. It's too early to judge anything because the show hasn't aired yet. But since the original story of Wangquan Fugui is very short, I do think they'll bound to stretch the plot into the unknown. I'll just lower my expectation and just enjoy the show. Since I'm just a pure drama watcher (didn't know the manhua/donghua), as long as the story makes sense with not too much plot hole, I'm fine with it 😭

Exactly, isn't it confusing?? Dongfang Yuechu won't make appearance here just like Fugui didn't make any in RMP. So they create another character to replace Yuechu? I heard people were mad that they make Quan Wumu to be Fugui's cousin (Idk how is it a big deal bc I didn't watch the donghua), so they change his name into Quan Rumu so it seems like he's an entirely new character.
If they're going to follow that Quans and Wangs plot, it would make Wumu isn't a direct cousin of Fugui then??
