Sorry to go out of topic, is there no page on MDL for the drama The Sparkle in Your Eye?
"The Sparkle in Your Eye" is a Chinese drama. However, due to its predecessor "Blue Canvas of Youthful Days" having been taken off the air in the past, it chose to be listed under a Singaporean company to avoid censorship and ensure smooth broadcasting. But mydramalist is too rigid—the drama is actually Chinese, not Singaporean, with both the cast and production team being entirely Chinese.

Taiwan drama and not mainland China.
One thing you misunderstood is that Chai Ji Dan is a mainland Chinese, not Taiwanese, there is an error in the information on the MDL, and I don't know why it is incorrectly labeled as Taiwanese, maybe it's confused with Chai Zhi Ping(Angie Chai), a famous Taiwanese director?

filmed outside of china and only broadcasted internationally to bypass censorship

I have a question, since they can get around China's censorship and ban by distributing it outside the country, can…
There is no precedent for Netflix to buy mainland China's bl dramas, the current bl broadcasting platforms that work with mainland China are Gagaoolala.viki.viu, etc. I don't know if these mainland China producers have approached Netflix, but of course they have to be willing to buy.

Taiwan drama and not mainland China.
Can you be informed before commenting? This drama is 100% Chinese drama, the production team and actors are all Chinese, nothing to do with Taiwan at all!

You can see the end credits on youtube after EP1 and EP1 to know that the drama is in simplified Chinese, the trailer in traditional Chinese because the drama is also broadcast on gagaoolala, in this platform is mainly for the Taiwanese market, if you can read simplified Chinese, you can you know that the end credits of the production company are located in mainland China

I'm really confused. If it's Chinese, then how is it bl? Is this also coproduced with some other country? If not,…
Totally Chinese production, Chinese bl dramas are not subject to any censorship at all as long as they don't air in mainland China but only on overseas platforms, and recently there have been many uncensored bl dramas from China

Don't worry, it's a happy ending for the main couple and the second couple. (Spoilers from the director and actor)
I'm sure because I did watch the director's and cast's livestreams and the different actors revealed that for the two main gay couples it's a happy ending and for the third straight couple it's an open ending

a series doesn't have to have a message, but maybe it's to "do what you want to do and love who you want to love"?…
The assumptions you made don't hold water, I can tell you unequivocally that it's a happy ending, the director, the cast's livestream has spoilers, only the third heterosexual couple is OE, the other two are HE

....to tell the truth I don't feel like watching this series anymore. I was hoping so much for a happy ending…

This is obviously a low-budget Chinese short drama, don't expect too much, it's too short.

Can you change the country?this is clearly a Chinese drama, the production, filming and actors are all Chinese, this can be easily seen from the credits, all in Simplified Chinese, claiming a Taiwanese drama is just to avoid censorship.

Where? What? 👀
I don't know the date, just guessing, I'm not sure.Because on September 7 the director said on weibo that something good was expected to happen, and then the night before, The administrator of the microblogging super topic discussion forum issued a notice: after the previous and today's communication with the BCOYD officials, the review of super topic posts will be open until after the drama is finished, as a counterfactual, if it wasn't going to be aired or hoped to be aired, they would not have done so out of the blue.
