Some good news, now that Yao Xing Hao and the director of this drama are live on douyin, and listening to their tone it doesn't sound like they're completely unable to air, there's still hope. Also, they revealed some spoilers for the ending of the drama

The Chinese government doesn't care if not too many people report it to the government, or they don't care, there are examples of foreign bl dramas being controlled, for example "Semantic Error" was blocked in China for a while, but these examples are rare. It's also possible that the diplomatic crisis is a concern, most of the actors are Chinese, and most of the cast and crew are Chinese. "Meet You at the Blossom" is not banned in China because it's a collaboration with a Thai company that invests in and distributes it under the name of a Thai drama, but of course, MYATB is not as popular as BCOYD in China.

Because CCP only dares to bully China's own people, and not many Chinese will report foreign dramas, but Chinese dramas are in a state of hatred and imbalance that many Chinese will report them
I used to think that Chinese BL could return to glory in the form of airing overseas, I used to think that the Chinese government would turn a blind eye as long as it didn't air in mainland China, but now I realize that I was wrong, it turns out that as long as any BL drama is popular it will be controlled by the government, and Chinese BL has obviously lost any hope.
The Chinese people are so freaked out now that homophobia/hate bl goes to the authorities, and the Chinese government's homophobia is so deep in their bones that I can only feel deep despair as a gay man living in such a country. A TV series that is not shown in mainland China is banned, this is ridiculous.
Some bad news:All clips and related content about this drama have been taken down on Chinese douyin (i.e. the Chinese version of tiktok) and Xiaohongshu (i.e. the Chinese version of IG), and nothing about it is searchable any more, which I'm guessing is due to the fact that the drama's popularity has been reported by bl-haters/homophobes or peers, which has led to the Chinese officials noticing at this point.(As of this afternoon, the drama is at #7 on China's Douban Hot Chinese TV Dramas list, as a drama that doesn't air in China.)
The show is already on the air, each episode is about thirty minutes long, not exactly a short length series, and the production quality is good, so go watch it!

Today I attended an early viewing of Blue Canvas of Youthful Days ,I watched the fifth episode and thought I'm so happy that I got to eat such a delicious meal first. I want to repo it as soon as possible!
It's about half an hour long, and the story line is very youthful, so I'll start by saying that those of you who are into our main couple are in for a treat. I'm talking about Qin Xiao and Qi Lu because they had a lot of scenes in episode 5. Mr. Zhang Xuan Yu's lines were so good that I want to give him a shout out for completely bringing out the inner flavors of a small bully in the middle of the city, especially since he's so good at acting...he's so angry and cold, but he still gives the young master his medication, do you know how much that means? The next thing I want to say is that Guo Jia Le is an actor! Our talented painter young master looks so beautiful ...... There was a part where he got sick and had a fever and pampered Zhang Xuan Yu and asked for a hug, I'm going crazy. The fifth episode of the drama really gave me in and I started screaming at home....
