Haha yeah after watching a few Japanese dramas recently that I really liked I thought I need to start watching more bc the stats of Japanese dramas I watched are embarrassingly low in comparison to other countries. Any recommendations for me?

Binge watched 5 episodes bc I'm watching with and Arabic dub that is really good. I liked that the FL pursues the ML with so much determination despite him being a cold hearted ass hole (this is kinda new to me, I only see guys pursue other guys with this much determination and confidence, rarely if ever a woman after a man, a heartless one at that).He keeps hurting her over and over again, and when he's at fault he still blames her anyways. Keeps calling her "dumb" when she's the least dumb/naive Chinese FL I've seen (the only thing "dumb" about her is loving him)I heard this doesn't get any better until way later in the drama (meaning ML always an ass hole), now I'm scared bc its a 32 ep dramanow

For Arabs interested in this version, its dubbed in Arabic (Palestine dialect)

Its still really good trust me, I watched it in the past year and loved it. You'll fall in love with the OST. The acting in older kdramas is much better and less robotic then recent ones,

This was good and entertaining, don't watch the second season if you don't want the good ending here to be ruined

Very confusing, they jump from dialogue to dialogue like a roller coaster. You won't miss out on anything if you just skip it

So funny how a supposedly "low budget" Taiwanese BL drama is better than "high budget" Thai BL dramas. Pretty cute 70 minute short series, I really liked it.

The actors are obviously very good at acting, the filming and directing seems pretty fine too. Not sure where the other reviewers got "amateur" from. Non of the actors is an "Amateur." They seem very into and passionate about acting.

They're very hot so that's a "plus." Their chemistry is so strong and natural.

Such a sweet friends to lovers story. I LOVED the OST. A true man that knows how to keep what's his. No drama, no misunderstandings.

Ironic how its called happy ending, non of the stories are happy ending

All kinds of messed up in one movie (or short series).
It's 18+ for sexual harassment, abuse, r**e, kidnapping but most of the "serious" moments made me laugh maybe bc of the bad acting but also bc they add comedy where it doesn't belong. Victim has a Stockholm syndrome, he understands and feels sorry for his kidnapper (aka r*ppest, and abuser), he's like "I know you have a good reason for doing **** to me" LMAO, victim falls in love with kidnapper who only releases him when police intervene and "happily ever after together"

Very young but really good actors, its only 20 minutes long but made me tear up

Low budget drama but that's not the problem here, the real problem is the overall acting and directing, dialogues cut from scene to scene abruptly, the plot is confusing

Just skip it, you won't miss out on anything

its based on an anime, if you don't like the acting style now then I doubt you'll like it later. Also the acting is a lot more tone down and realistic in comparison to the Japanese movie adaptation. I personally like it

I'm loving it! watched the Japanese adaptation before this which was a lot unrealistic and the acting was exaggerated in an anime-like style.

I love how in this Thai version the pacing is stretched out and not rushed, it follow the original anime story a lot better. It feels very new and refreshing, it gives off a very different vibe than all other Thai BLs. Like very very different.

Idk how to describe it but it feels like I'm watching a kdrama/jdrama and not a Thai BL (?) which is a good thing.

They picked the right actors to be main characters to take on the role of an "anime/japanese character," especially Anda its like he's built to take on an anime character role.

I love how I can pick up on the Japanese origins of the story and characters without them doing exaggerated anime-like acting like the Japanese movie adaptation did.

One thing that ticked me off was the "kiss without consent," or the "forced kiss to confirm self's feelings"

Like I get that this is depicted the same way as anime acting too so I shouldn't take it seriously, but it still makes me a bit uncomfortable to see two real people doing anything to someone without consent no matter how "light" or "innocent" it might seem. That's the only thing I didn't like about this movie

The acting here is "exagerrated" like most typical Japanese dramas/movies where the acting is anime-style. If you don't like Japanese dramas where the actors act like they came straight out of an anime then I suggest you skip it. But if you don't mind the anime-ish "exagerrated" acting then you'll like it

I personally liked it, its fun, simple and lighthearted. I'll try the Thai adaptation next

Its not bc its BL that the acting is exaggerated. Japan is known to like exaggerated acting like anime in dramas whether BL or not, its rare to find Japanese dramas without exaggerated acting
