yes there was. 1. FL's fake suicide attempt that only later being revealed it was fake, even the watchers thought she really died. 2. The ML thinking the FL is really dead so he pointed the hairpin on his neck really intending to kill himself so he can join FL in death, but he was stopped by the guard and the girls interruption. These are just related to FL and ML, other characters also attempted it including prince of Xiyan when he thought FL died, was stopped by his father and guard so he concluded with just cutting his arm off to be able to break free from the chains to go see her. I could keep naming more... but yes there were both suicide and attempted suicide in the drama

In modern cdramas, they usually use filters to make their skin look super soft. Its rare to see them use an unfiltered video

Also I was wondering and amused as to how the princess sister of the Xiyan Prince heir was attracted to the king and got pregnant by him despite her literally being the age of his children, until I saw her dad,,,, then it all made sense. Daddy issues at its finest xD An grandpa her dad's age that treats her like a human unlike her biological father solved her daddy issues I guess lmao

I'm still on ep 29, but glad neither leads committed suicide for those who want to believe they got reinacarnated as lovers, since those who commit suicide don't get reincarantaed. Also glad the Romeo and Juliet scene wasn't successful xD otherwise it would cause them not to reincarnated or be lovers in another life
