The results were predictable (except I thought the votes would make 1M #2 & JR #3, so that was a slight surprise. Seems like a lot of Koreans did support JR contrary to what foreigners expected). All of the crews did so well! I've seen a lot of people hating BEBE on YT and other places, but if anything they should blame Mnet for making viewers vote & not having judges decide the winner.
Just like Kirsten said, it doesn't matter who wins or lose, they're all winners.

It was slightly better than I expected. When I started the last episode, I read some spoilers how terrible the ending is. When I finished it, it didn't seem like a bad ending. It depends on how you interpret it. In that scene in last episode, where Doona confronted WJ near the end and where they hugged seemed to me they would reconcile. I read that some people thought of it as them getting closure since they weren't able to move on for 4+ years and so after that they could move on from each other. But, they repeated a similar dialogue in ep 7 where they reconciled. They may not have confessed "I love you", but they admitted they missed each other. Also, after the opening song, they would give a snapshot or a small scene that was like a preview for the episode. Like when we were introduced to Choi Yi Ra in ep 4's beginning the same scene came in that episode. But on episode 6, they show the scene of them meeting on a train track which is shown in the title song as well, but there's no specific scene dedicated in the drama (which I have a feeling, they cut it out). In the last episode, they start it off with showing them meeting in the fields of Japan which could indicate they're together. It also makes no sense why he was sighing out of relief when he took his boss to go in opposite direction of Doona.
Anyways, I feel like there are some things in the story that felt unnecessary (Choi Yi Ra's random appearance to match Won Joon's fortune cookie prediction & just to be a love interest of Jung Hoon) or could've had more details (like how is she going to deal with her mom. Her mom wanted her to go back to being an idol so that she could continue with her fraud. How did her mom not interfere with her life after her solo debut? I'm assuming things with WJ's family went well after his sister's surgery is over?) But overall wasn't too bad.

If it's gonna be like the previous battle mission with the audience "live voting" then they should make it fair. They shouldn't have 80% dedicated to them. Unless the audience is entirely composed of professional dancers who can make an unbiased decision, then it should only be 30% of audience votes (that way the other 50% can be done in a better way). This is the only season of SWF where I liked the judges cause they were qualified. I feel like they would make a better decision than the audience.

I think majority of the crews were formed for this show. Wolf'lo and LB seem to be crews with a long history and 1million is a dance studio with Lia Kim as one of the CEOs so they picked their dancers.
Assuming BEBE, Deep n Dap, Tsubakill, Mannequeen were formed for this season.
Bada & few dancers in Tsubakill are signed with JR's agency. Mina owns her own studio (I think it's called mutudio something) so deep n dap is a crew they formed. Idk much about Tsubakill. Mannequeen mentioned in SWF they knew each other from competitions and decided to form a crew. I think a few competed in Dancing 9 and Funky Y, Yoonji, Waackxxxy showed up in SMF with Eoddae in their missions. Redlic is a choreographer not a street dancer so they definitely formed the crew for show

Mannequeen should've won, I don't know what the audience was thinking. 1 million didn't do bad but it felt like Mannequeen did way better. I feel like the crew that was eliminated had a long name so either lady bounce or mannequeen. But could possibly be wolf lo if they didn't do well in online votes in battle mission.
The preview for 1M and JR battling makes no sense unless they were tied for the same rank?? JR is popular globally so they should have more global votes in their battle mission too. It makes no sense for them to be in dropout battle.

from what I read some people in the live audience spoiled some of it. Don't know how much is true though. They said Lady bounce lost judges points but won the 70 from the audience. But I think JR might win the global 500 points since they're more popular.
Since they're also factoring Hwasa's mission, I think JR had more votes / challenges than Lady Bounce too.

There's nothing wrong with being themselves. I felt like wolf lo used their style and tried to throw some "sexy" stuff in there but then the whole thing looked awkward for me, even though they were trying their best to suit Hwasa's style. BEBE's choreo was great (still has some sexiness- depends on how you define it), but perhaps if they changed outfits it would appeal to Hwasa?
But you're right the song is intended for SWF. Hwasa's not gonna perform these songs on Music Bank or some other shows. It's just for the MV that they'll dance together. However, she's the one who would give those bonus points to them. So if they wanted to win those points, then they probably had to adjust it to Hwasa's taste (seems like she picked 1mil's simple choreo and didn't want to be experimental. She stayed consistent with her preferences). Anyways, it's just a mission, the extra 100 points from Hwasa shouldn't make a huge difference if they do well in next group battle mission. Besides YGX still got eliminated S1 with jessi's 100 additional points. Hopefully BEBE wins the public voting for the song though cause for that people don't need to vote if they think it suits Hwasa or not. It's for the challenge.

While the choreo is good (for girl crush concepts), it doesn't suit Hwasa. It depends on the artists. Some artists previously didn't mind the crews showcasing the crew's style& instead preferred them to come up with choreos in their style instead of altering it for the soloist. It's up to Hwasa if she wants to be experimental and go out of her comfort zone and try something not her usual style (like Rain or Jessi who I think was influenced by PSY). But I have a feeling she'll go with JR since theirs was the best & fits her style too. If she does, so curious how all the crews would do some sexy dancing lol (cause they always feature the dance crews in the music video.

Ah that part was confusing cause she had a conversation with her mom & her mom told her something about taking care of it and she didn't want her daughter to end up like her. So assumed she faked her death or something

I loved it so I ended up binging it lmao. I loved the story of the parents over the kids. The kids introduction at the start was interesting too and hooked me into the drama, but as soon as they showed the past for the parents, they stole the show for me. I liked how the writer gave majority of the characters a story so we know more about them and made them more complex characters instead of one-dimensional or just to keep the plot going (like the NK guys had a reason to battle and you couldn't hate them entirely after knowing their past). However, I felt some things were rushing towards the end. I kept watching hoping dooshik would reunite with his family earlier, but it was towards the end. At least he was alive? But it felt like we couldn't see much of him compared to Jang Juwon & Lee Mihyun (Mihyun did a great job tho we finally got to see her in action in the last few episodes). Yes he was captured, but I was hoping he'd escape earlier. Not something necessary, but was hoping for a dooshik & juwon reunion too. Wanted to see dooshik and him in action together too

I'm surprised no one warned Ganghoon about joining NIS. Juwon didn't bother telling them they're a bad organization. It might not make a difference since Ganghoon was doing it for his father. I'm glad to see his character development. He cares about his father a lot. I was thinking that he was ashamed of his dad because of how everyone called him retarded, but so glad they showed him having a soft side for his dad.

The plot twist at the end with Hyewon (the rich girl who got bullied) was surprising, but she ended up as a cliffhanger. I did suspect something wrong with her when they showed her being bullied, cause if she's rich why didn't she tell her family?? A rich family would've pressurized the school or pull some strings to take care of all the bullies for her. But did not expect her to be in a higher position in NIS and the school security guy working with her instead of min yongjoon.
There's a lot of things they showed as a cliffhanger. IF they do a S2 (I doubt it), I hope they answer some questions (the kid who stopped time, Naju's daughter who is alive but mom made her dead, frank). But I have a feeling they'd change characters/actors and we won't get to see the main characters of this drama.

I guess china & US have different systems, but...if they really make firefighters do all this it seems like they are wasting first responders time. They should be paid more for such tasks such as
- firefighters removing hornets nest? No environmental pest control?? same with spiders...
- cutting off a ring stuck on finger
- The cyanide case (where is hazmat???)
- Alpaca (pretty sure cops can break down doors too..idk about animals tho)
I think there was more but can't remember.
Also surprising they don't have EMTs or paramedics with firefighters or taught them CPR and basic first aid.

never found out why Xu Qin's parents decided to commit suicide? I thought it'd be connected to something, but it wasn't. I could care less about what happened to SY's birth mom because they did show she didn't have that easy life after marrying a rich guy when she abandoned SY& his dad.
The guy who betrayed Song Yan's father never apologized. Neither did Xu Qin's mom ever apologize to SY. It showed her accepting him after he saved her.

It's slow-paced. It really tested my patience sometimes. The Fl's character development was slow (I guess trying to make it realistic cause that doesn't develop right away).
Her character was a bit frustrating at start.
Firefighting scenes were nice to watch although some felt like scenarios where "Do firefighters really do this?"
The bromance among firefighters was fun to watch
However, some couples were forced on you & with the amount of side characters they showed & some of their stories, I was hoping they'd show some closure but it's like they forgot about it
Also again with redemption in antagonist

The Glory was happyish ending. But if this one is Rom-com maybe it's not a tragic ending. probably open ending like goblin or happy ending

it's not bad at all. I just remember WDBZ from SMF had 4th place in views for mega crew mission but they ended up in dropout battle. That's why it's unpredictable

the other performances like 1 mil & mannequeen were great too but they have idols (dara, winter, sinB) which can help raise more views/votes/likes

I don't think all of it is real time. They released their Kpop battle for all groups like 2 months ago. In ep 4, you get to see the results of that battle.

Although it's short, it was not bad. People can come up with several meanings. I do have several questions though cause this is the part of the writing I don't understand. I've never watched the original but I'm assuming it has similar story.
Why doesnt Wang sheng tell pei rong right away he suspects xiao wei is the demon fox. It's like he has no trust in her abilities or in their relationship. It makes me wonder how long they've been together & how much trust they built. It also makes me wonder if they were generals based off their fighting abilities and not their brains. I assume that people in charge (generals or commanders) need to come up with tactics when it comes to war or catching criminals. It can't just be about strength, can it? I'd understand if they were in lower positions like soldiers who follow orders, but generals?
I'm sure he could've found a good way to alert her & tell her not to act rashly and come up with a plan together to capture him. But instead he decided to be the guy who sacrifices himself out of love for his partner because he wants her safety. I understand everyone wants their partner to be safe, but it also shows the lack of trust you have in them. He also got deceived by the fox twice with his mouth shut and the hair lock at end.
