omg thank God I'm not the only thinking that way! the first episodes were good but then they kept introducing plot twists and characters without even properly explaining them. It just became more and more messy and right now (I'm at ep 12) I feel like I don't give a damn about anything that happens. I'm watching it only to see how it ends (and maybe for the leads too, since they're good), but there's no other reason. They could have handled the plot so much better. It's frustrating. (sorry for the rant lol)
she's extremely irresponsible but it's sad that a whole drama is getting affected by her personal life. She isn't the only one who worked in it, there are other actors, the director, staff.... everyone's hard work is going in vain because of one scandal. And they spent so much on the production... This just makes me sad.
I hope she gets more drama offers, I absolutely loved her as qiao wei in "danger of her". I think she has the ability to pull off a main role in a modern romantic drama! *looking straight at iqiyi*
i just finished watching episode 9 and at this point i'll keep watching the drama for the leads (since i like their chemistry) and not really for the plot. it seems badly built up imo.. i hope i'm not the only one feeling this way

thank you, i'm watching the drama on viki for now but will move to youtube if they sub it faster than viki. I watched the first episode. It was stunning, i mean the cinematography and the production value is no joke. I'm also liking how they've built all the relationships between the characters. For once the emperor doesn't look like an a*shole (although i'm sure he's going to turn into one asap). Zhang Ziyi is so beautiful and i like her acting. I also love the pace of the drama! idk when i'll be able to watch the next episodes, but i'll keep you updated!!
