Can someone explain the ending to me, also what was the significance of that clock?
By the clock you mean the golden watch? - the watch was dropped by the person who caused the hit-and-run in the beginning of the drama. Because of that hit-and-run, Yi Soo's father took the blame for it and it created a domino effect to the story.
Her father was the one who hit that person. However, her grandfather intervene and asked Yi Soo's father to take the blame for it. But, Yi Soo's father changed his mind at the last moment and told the grandfather he was not going to take the blame for it and was going to tell the police that he had killed the historian, so her grandfather had Yi Soo's father murdered.
As for the ending... well, it seems the writers were rushed during the last episode so they had to quickly close the gaps, but left it with the impression that even after the grandfather was in jail and was going to be punished for his crimes, there was still corruption left. The policeman who shot Yi Soo was working under the grandfather's orders.
Yi Soo was brain dead because of being shot in the head. However the doctors were able to get his liver for the transplant for his little sister, which is what Yi Soo wanted the most. After the transplant then Yi Soo died.
It is implied that she stayed with her husband, quit her job, and together they would restart all over again.
I'm not really into affair dramas but is it really that good? I'm almost tempted to watch this because I haven't…
Yes it is... I recommend it - however it is very addictive and is still airing lol.. I thought I would drop it within a couple episodes... now I am here biting my nails waiting for the next ep.
Is it just me but doesn't he look like the main lead from I Need Romance?
He looks like a few people... I find his face so familiar, however I've never seen any of his dramas (I am watching I Do, I Do now) -- he looks like a Chinese actor that did "Advance Bravely", like a young version of him.. I think is the smile. So odd.
Uff..... what a mistake I made!!! I decided to watch this just out of curiosity... 9 episodes back to back later I am hooked and just realized this comes on once a week!!! I am not into dramas that deal with infidelity, however this one is worth watching -- I hope the ending is good because if not I will be left without a laptop for a while while I get a new one after breaking this one! ----
If you haven't found a good sub (I didn't back when I watched the whole series) - try to stick to it and finish it - is what I did.. and I do not have any regrets.... what a wonderful masterpiece - even though I didn't understand some of what they were saying.. the story tells itself... this series is not for the faint hearted!
it is not a historical drama.. it is a fantasy drama... not really a who to 'ship' drama... those who are 'shipping'…
Glad you find this straight forward and predictable, with no complexities at all. "Too much telling and not showing" reminds me of when people complaint about books that have no pictures on them.
Interesting premise wasted by bad writing. 6/10. I feel like this show is geared towards those who don't really…
it is not a historical drama.. it is a fantasy drama... not really a who to 'ship' drama... those who are 'shipping' will 'ship' under any circumstance. It is a fantasy drama, which is very well developed - sounds like you haven't watched it, or haven't understood it. It is complex and for those looking for a light hearted romantic drama.. it is a lot more than that... and because it is a fantasy with a new context, we won't find any hints on how things will end up until we reach that point.
Believe it or not, there are quite a large number of women who feel this way - their beauty becomes a curse. They constantly question, is this person liking me for me or for my looks?
Is it that u didn't get the synopsis or is it that u watched it and didn't get the ending??
I loved it! everything was perfect! One thing to note too is that the Commander would have become king based on all the support he had... so Madam's decision had a lot of implication. The other general already had told the Jin that he resembled more the Commander he knew than the real one, and he also turned against the king for his poor decisions.... so he was definately going to stand by Jin...
well the past 2 years they gained even more fan base, which brings more £££, Am I surprised they are getting…
truly.. I agree with you. This is a profession they chose, and it is a profession where fans get very emotionally attached - so there is interest in their private life. It would be unhealthy to be interested on every detail of their private life, however it is normal to be concerned about their marriage or divorce in this case...
SJK to me is like a chameleon... on each series he looks different. I have not watched DOTS because I've been saving it for a rainy day - and now in Arthdal's Chronicles I didn't recognize him at first, then didn't recognize him right away from his 1 role to the 2nd in the series hahahaha... he has a face that disguises itself to me. (I didn't realize he was in "Innocent Man" either - I haven't watched it, so I didn't recognize him from promotional posters) // anyway... I hope this divorce doesn't affect them too much professionally.
how is this accurate? I just finished ep 8 last night.
MDL is listing them as Netflix is listing them... if you watch on a site other than Netflix then you watched the first two episodes of season 2 (thus making it 8 episodes... 6 s1 + 2 s2)
The child actors are soo good...soo much emotion from all. I don't find it hard to follow and yes there is a twist....I…
the child actors are good indeed! truly, I have no complaint on any of the actors so far! - I find that everyone is unpredictable still.. I am expecting some twists and turns that will make me wish I was wearing a seat belt!
There's 10 hours left and the only ones that have made progress is Taelha and Tagon. At least they're on their…
I think you are jumping too soon to conclusions without actually understanding what is going on. His horse didn't call him weak...that was from the soldiers who had discovered his true identity, he was weak because he was badly injured. Tanya is a maid, and at the end of episode 8 or 2 of season 2 we can see how she will start on the road to be a politician - the story is developing right.
