HaeS's mother was one strong lady. her second child died, she let the spirit possess her instead of her son while simultaneously trying to seal it off.

HaeS's grandparents were evil but prof gu was just the same for trying to acquire the spirit and allowing it to possess him for money? thats why they are rich right? even when HaeS's grandmother refused him, he still pursued it and caused his second child and mother-in-law's deaths. he even had the guts to tell sanyoung that it wasn't his intention to pass the spirit to his daughter when he knew what was the price for acquiring the spirit.

just feel really bad for HaeS when sanyoung yelled at him in the rain about killing people for money when she also accepts her inheritance.
