One of my all time favorite dramas. Leads had great chemistry. The story was not watered down, 24 episodes were amazingly well done. The storyline flowed, it was the perfect amount of love, angst and sadness. For all of those who gave bad ratings for the ending. Her death was a win at the end. The greedy wannabe emperor got what he deserved and she saved thousands of lives. The perfect set up for 2nd season! Can’t wait, tell we meet again Shiyi and Sheng Chen. ❤️

I have absolutely become obsessed with this drama. I should have waited for all the episodes to come out before I watched it. Now it kills me to have to wait. Lol The way shiyi and sheng chen look at each other, You can see the admiration and longing. They make a great CP. Sheng Chen has this kind protectiveness about him that isn’t overly jealous and possessive. Shiyi is meek but smart and not overly whiny and annoying. This drama makes my heart swoon.

Omg!! I’ve become completely obsessed with this drama. Allen Ren and Bai Lu are amazing. The prince of nanchen is protective but not overbearing and jealous. Shiyi is kind and meek but not dumb. She’s not a whiny grown ass woman. These characters were perfectly written. Now I wish I would have waited for more episodes to come out before I started watching.

Wow this is so intense! These cnetz must have a lot of time on their hands and a lot of anger issues. I mean I’ve commented on bad writing and acting but that is way over the top. Where do these people find time for this. Do they get paid?

I second that! She has the same damn expression in every role she plays. She does know how to embodied the different characters.

It’s looking like English subs are about two weeks behind. I’m going to wait for more episodes to get sub before I start watching.
