It is normal in the USA to have younger female leads with older male leads. A fifty year-old male can be with a 20-something starlet. As for China, I watched Return the World to You with Gülnezer Bextiyar (27) and Yang Shuo(37). They do not even have the chemistry that Vengo and Reba has even with the age difference. So I think that they can it off. I saw their first drama, V-Love. Vengo was supposed to be maturer and Reba was a college student. They ended up together.

I think that if they want to grow, then they need to work outside of their comfort zones. Vengo and Reba are both models. So modern clothes will look great on them. Reba just needs to learn how to cry better on screen.

A03 (archiveofourown.org) is closed to China due to the Xiao Zhan controversy. So if you live there, then you will not be able to access it. Long story short, a fanfiction made Xiao Zhan a cross-dresser. His fans reported it to the government. Other fans blamed him for not controlling his fans. Sad!

I think that they rushed the ending. I wanted more of the happy family instead of Jiheng. Not that I have anything against the actress. I just think that they should come up with a Special Edition for the main couple.

They can spin this into a modern movie base on the entertainment industry, fashion, or video gaming. Instead of swords, use the law or technology.

They should do a modern take on this dream with the same cast. It is probably easier to do 40 episodes and less expensive than a costumed drama.

This drama use seasoned matured actors and actresses. We need more modern dramas like this. It is hard for idols to carry a drama like this with depth. Of course, certain supporting actors from The Untamed may be able to do it. This drama is 10 times better than The Best Partner with Jin Dong.

Che Xiao is not Stella. It is Chen Shu, the empress from Fighter of Destiny. This actor is classy and talented.

After episode 10, it is really good with character development. They have seasoned actors/actresses that can act not Yang Mi’s company of newbies.

The Untamed set the bar for BL adaptations. The Guardian had great actors with a bad script. Hope that this one will have a good script.

Xue Lang from The Untamed is also in here. Hope that Wang Haoxuan is not typecasted as a killer in this drama.

Hope that Yalkun Merxat has a breakout role. So glad that Zheng Fan Xing can play a main role and not a support one. He was great in The Untamed and the spinoff The Living Dead. Plus he can sing really well. I have seen lots of dramas with Alan Yu and am not feeling his acting. This is my thoughts. Cannot comment on Fair Xing's acting, because I have not seen her work.

Love the original cast & hoping that Vengo can do well as lead. He always look the same. Dilreba is great with him! If this works out well, then they should do the movie!

I thought that they could not get the copyright for this drama. That was why it was delayed for the filming. Also, I hope that the movie version is better than the movie version of 3M3LTMOPB.

I hope that it is a better ending than in the book.
