I really liked the costumes, esp FuLing/Baixi's. Her transition from Fuling to Baixi was reflected in how her character was accessorized and the intentional colour used.

As Fuling, she wore black with vivid colour accents. She was like a poisonous flower, beautiful but deadly. However, once she regains her memories and leaves the cold palace. Her colour palette becomes a lot softer and lighter. I think the transition in colour reflects two things: 1) The darkness/ corruption in her. When she left the cold palace, she was no longer alone and surrounded in darkness, ChongZhao pulled her towards the light. 2) Her life force. When she becomes Baixi again, she is dying. The vibrant colours are slowly fading away, slowly slipping away like her vitality.

Before she dies, in her dream, she is wearing just pink and white. This is different than the other costumes we see on her once she regains her memories as Baixi. That version of her is untainted, she was never taken away, experienced torture, or tortured others. There is an innocence and gentleness to this costume. Her costume is more human-like; she doesn't have petals on her face and her flower accessories just look like themed accessories rather than actual flowers in her hair; she's not a flower demon but a human.

After death, in her final farewell to ChongZhao, she is also wearing white but that outfit is different than the one she wears in her dream. She's back in this reality, and she's both Baixi and Fuling. The white pieces in this costume aren't pure white like the one in her dream. The fabric fades from white to purple to black. I think it symbolizes that in death she found peace, and while there are still pieces of darkness and corruption, she's finally free. The little butterfly on her costume embodies her love, freedom, and rebirth.

Title Moonlight Mystique Spoiler
I think Xi will die on episode 36/37 protecting BS. They will do a call back to when they were younger and the lines "I am dawn and you are the stars, no matter what you do I will stand behind you." Xi will transform into a bow, always guarding BS.

Xi's death will finally awaken the big bad in CZ. BS will battle it out and use the bow to kill the evil god.

The tiny part of the god that is CZ will finally reunite with Xi in death in that way.

If it wasn't for the villain, BS would have a sister who would do anything to protect her and not someone who tortured her.

Also, I think if it wasn't for Dailuwa playing FL, I probably wouldn't like the character as much as I do. FL has done some awful things but Dailuwa is so great I just love the character.

I think it's not talking about miaomiao. It might be about Ziqi's mother.
In the trailer the lady refers the one crying blood tears as “older sister” but calls MM “young lady”. I personally think its more likely that she’s referring to ZQ mom

And when she said she wasn't Lin Yu, neither did he ask why she said that. I'm not sure why, but the system also…
Yeah, she already vaguely told him she was LY but she forgot??? Like it shouldn't be a secret to him anymore so why does she think it is?

I was just about to ask this! Do you notice, after miaomiao wakes up from her dream she doesn't even remember…
Yeah, that was so weird. Maybe that power is slowly making her loose her sense of self as a player and becoming a npc??? But the memory loss was already happening prior to them arriving at the capital. MM mentioned she couldn't remember the book events leading to finale of the story after her first interactions with the panda statue.

Also any theories on what the power might be? We know the power is from the system but where did system get that power from??? I doubt it's going to be a simple source,

Is anyone else concerned about MM forgetting the mission and system? There was a trailer for an upcoming episode and ZQ finds MM's notes. She completely forgets that she even wrote the location points.

I wonder if this is the result of her asking for a power-up from the system or an already present issue. What were the side effects of her asking for that power??? MM should've asked more questions

Title Love Next Door Spoiler
So much is starting to upset me about this drama. I understand not wanting to tell her parents about the cancer…
Lol I personally think her reaction is totally valid.

I think she decided to not tell her friends and family because she didnt want to burden or upset them. She probably thought that since they were busy with their own lives and could only worry about her, its best not to make waves. Plus, if she told them, it makes it real. I'm sure she had enough of people pitying her, and maybe the thought of the people closest to her doing the same was unbearable. Sometimes its easier to pretend it didnt happen and having that normalacy was really important.

As for her interaction with the exfiance, and this is all my opinion, I think he did cheat but was also there for her, making it difficult to let go. I think the fiance was her rock through the hard times. She said she loves him or at least the time they spent together. Shes thankful for his presence, she probably wouldve been very lonely and helpless if not for him. However, maybe he kissed someone on a night out and she realized their relationship was unhealthy. It wasnt built on love and choice anymore but dependence. Im sure a big chunck of her relationship with him is influenced by her health and to explain her decision wouldve meant she had to explain her illness and she just didnt want that. Her reaction to him feels lkke a layered reaction, she is disappointed and sad but also cant be mad because she cant forget all his good.

She is probably feeling that way because she has overheard her “mom” and dad trash talking JA for abandoning…
Yeah but also, the dad mentions the kids waited for her to come. EA probably waited for her mom throughout her entire childhood but was disappointed. She doesn't know that JA was a victim in all this. Just that she needed her and she was absent.

I think even when the misunderstanding clears, EA not being able to accept her mother will still be valid. Even though she might be able to logically think that JA is innocent, that vindication doesn't do anything to resolve the childhood pain and disappointment accumulated throughout the years. It doesn't change the fact that she was probably a little girl waiting for her mother to come see her, only to be disappointed year after year (for 30 years).

I don't know why y'all are claiming that the show's "moral of the story" was that everything works out if you…
Right! Like Choi Se Kyeong was wealthy but she wasn't happy. It wasn't like she lived in sunshine and rainbows because her family had wealth. She was portrayed as a character that felt unloved and unwanted, and no amount of money or comfort fixed that.

Title Romance on the Farm Spoiler
This is a decent romance drama that ends with the family staying together and changing from past mistakes. I just wish the past mistakes weren’t so monumental. For instance, one of the character Ye’er is essentially sold by her parents. When her father gets into trouble, he tries to offer his daughter up as a way to coax the guards trying to take him away. After the father is taken, the mother steals some money from the MC’s family in order to try to free her husband. To keep the Money, she essentially sells Ye’er to the MC’s family. This breaks her heart but somehow she is back on good terms with parents by the end of the show, which honestly doesn’t make sense.

There is another instance where the MC’s aunt is tricked into marrying a old man by her older brother. In the novel, xiu’er is around 15 but ends up being married to a man in his 70s. While the drama doesn’t show the age gap to be too big, in more ancient china, this is the type of thing that would ruin her life forever. So the fact Xiu’er just forgives her older brother for messing around with her life, willing to essentially sacrifice her for more power is wild.

Also, side note, it’s wild that a leader of high-tech company would allow their image be used in the game. I feels like he essentially sold his image in perpetuity, which you should never do. Now a huge company owns the rights to his image. That’s a crazy move.

Also, I started reading the novel (MTL), and that’s not the flow of the novel at all. The novel makes a point to say, you have to know who your true family are. The MC’s father is filial, and in the beginning, to a point where his inability to stand up for himself, allowed his entire family to be abused by everyone else. The father realized further in the story, after multiple heartbreaks and disappoints fro his parents and brothers, that while they are family, he needs to be careful and have boundaries. There were a lot more characters in the story and a good half of them did something wrong and received karma but never changed. They looked down on people and believed any help they should recieve is a natural course of life and blamed people for their own faults.

Title Not Others
The relationship between the mum, Jin Hong and Jin hee is very interesting. They all know he's the dad of Jin…
I think part of it is because Jin Hee is already an adult. Yes, he's her biological father but at this point in her life it won't really change anything. She has no emotional attachment to him and he can't really dictate anything in her life. Mulling over it seems to have no benefit and it's much easier to just not think to much about it.

Title Durian's Affair Spoiler
From the tears in his eyes, it looks like DM did not marry SJ - but SJ is a mother to a child. Wonder what Ayla…
Lol yeah. If there is no second season then I'm going to think they got married and just ignore the plot holes and unfinished stories. If we're getting a new season, then I'm honestly afraid what the writer will think of if they are together. This drama has been unhinged but it hasn't gotten as crazy as some of their other works. I looked into love ft marriage and divorce and the last season of that was wild. There was a ghost, some reapers, and one of the main love interests has a light fall on him severely injuring him.

Lol the writer really left it ambiguous. Dan bin could be his full name but it could also be a first name.

Lol with this writer I feel like anything could happen.

If there is a season 2, I feel like there's a good chance that DM was forced to go through with the wedding to Ayla. He seemed sad and was crying while watching SJ's speech, which makes me think that things didn't work in his favour. Of course, I could be overthinking and they did get married in the end but I think if a season 2 ever happened, I don't know what the writer will do to their relationship.

I bet SJ and DM do have a son together but DM can't claim him and the son's name is going to Kim Dan Bi or something.

I feel like they probably didn't get married. Her son's full name will probably be something like Kim Dan Bi.
If they were together then he would be at the award show or maybe their son would be next to him instead of being babysat by a stranger.

That sucks. I think I've only ever seen love destiny get translated. Makes so much sense why when I tried looking for more, I couldn't find any.
