i dont know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, i feels like its ok as long as it doesnt contradict the story and/or characters. also i think the hint was just always there and Soon Tae seems shady af since the beginning so im not that surprised.
what surprise me more are his motive and the fact that the last one standing and the one with last laugh were different people. lol sorry xD you probably didnt remember much cause its been a year since.
