Sigh. Nothing to watch so am re-watching this. Anyone else?
for the longest time i stay away from historical/costume drama but i watch legend of female general and love in the cloud back to back after pursuit of jade lol
Someone care to explain what far away place Yu QianQian comes from and why she couldn’t return
> her concern about teeth cavity > idea for product marketing/branding > know cpr
i thought those were just inconsistent story telling until she said she came from really faraway place, when you put all the hints together, that faraway place can only mean the future
Did you watch the Drama Version? I just binge-watched it over 4 days
while i kinda enjoy the plot (read the novel too) im not sure if i can stomach a dragged out version of this (welp maybe when i run out of cdrama to watch xD)
jdorama is where you genuinely root for the ml to end with any of the 3 female characters only for him not to end up with anyone lmao like i mean his dynamic with each of them is actually interesting and different that not a single one necessarily overshadowed the others. theres legit build up for him to end up with any of them if the writer choose to do so, but then write said "nah ive got something even better"
surprisingly enjoying much more than i thought, maybe its the low eps count that make everything feel fresh. they sure have some cliche, i mean whats a romcom without cliche, but they definitely executed well and add their own flavour. i do feel some part is kinda unrealistic but thats not important since they know where to put their weight they also pulled the jokes really wells and natural, the highlight for me is the office cabinet incident and the running gag between the secondary lead hahaha
lastly, shout out to the director. i actually going blind into this drama cause i enjoyed the director other work, "Never too late". He certainly know how to pick what to tell in a romcom. Keep it short and memorable.

also the scene when she save qi min was like really typical time traveler first appearance
