they could have learn a thing or two from One Piece LA, its not a 1:1 adaptation but it work (like how they change Garp timeline or how they added in-ear(phone) snail transponder, because it doesnt break the rule of the in-story universe). but instead they choose to go big rifle goes brrrrr. its like giving zoro three assault rifles instead of swords.

Say what you want about all the criticism from original novel/manhwa reader but the anger is justified. You just cant fundamentally change an integral part of the story/character and still dare to call it an adaptation and expect to get away with with it. The criticism might not be well expressed but it were not there without reason.

Maybe i could give it a chance if they somehow nail Han SooYoung character but i dont even have the slight faith in them doing that,

theres something called finetuning detail to fit a film medium more then theres fucking sweeping sword with big gun go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, its changing a fundamental part of the character or how theres no gun in the original story, its not the same story anymore,

its fine to change some detail to fit the story medium better but fundamentally changing an integral part of the character is not the way
