i would actually welcome an eccentric and uncommon drama, but i dont thinks thats the case here, some plot are…
nah hes stereotype in a sense that he is naive, do first think latter, the hot blooded protagonist that cant control their emotion. ive seen many mc like this and how they lead the story. music? dont get me started, its feels like they just took bgm from template folder and put it in any scene without dialogue relationships presented in a poetic and artistic way? idk maybe we have different sense in poetic and artistic but the way i see it the character relationship in this drama doesnt progress naturally, theres not enough build up. also the police arent stoopid? his whole team seems like a comedic relief characters, theyd do better as comedic group

i can actually accept cliche scene but when it really fit it, i mean everybody (well lets say almost) like chocolate but you dont wanna put it on your chicken or pizza, or eating chocolate for a week straight.
and yeah i agree there are lot more worse stereotype ml than pil sung, but i also couldnt make out what kind of character pil sung is supposed to be.
i think i could accept this drama a lot more if not for their excessive and forced comedy gimmick, but then again its their supposed genre. i think this might fit better if it were dark humour or joke about life and death, something like that. just my 2 cent.
poorly recycled same old plotmaybe theyd get bettermaybe
i would actually welcome an eccentric and uncommon drama, but i dont thinks thats the case here, some plot are so cliche it become frustrating honestly and character isnt really new or unique. well that might change or might not.
I won't name the murderer in case there are ppl who haven't watch the drama reading this comment.1. In death note,…
cant deny there is similarity between them, just gonna point out some difference you havent address yet because you know its kind of interesting kira only start it because he got an opportunity namely the death note itself. he doesnt have any personal motif, just a hs boy whose fed up with how the world is run. while in this drama, the doc planned it all from the beginning. he want revenge against the head director of that children center after he found out what hes brother went through. along the way he found out others children suffer similar fate and couldnt just leave them be. its interesting because these things affect how the detective/police trying to figure them out and catch them.
couldnt put it better, i also feel the same before watching this drama hence why i only watch this whole drama now, two months after it finished airing. im glad i watch it. when i watch the first 2 eps i know immediately this is my kind of drama, the atmosphere, the tension, the character, how the story progress, how each clue was thrown or hidden, i just know when i saw them.
i, for one, actually glad the focused on the main issue and story from the beginning. it help to create a solid story. i prefer it this way than making an half attempt detailed story for everyone. they male detective didnt get much background story but i think his character is the one that grow the most. also i didnt feel the story was to slow or rushed at any stage at all. everything was told with a reason, no screentime was wasted. about the things they didnt explained further i dont think they were significant enough to affect the course of the story, they were also not directly related the main plot either.
Tae Joo's fall was silly. After all, he had every reason to be suspicious of Woo Kyung's real intentions. Besides…
"for both of them, i want to sort things out myself" the dude literally saidit himself at the end. its because he empathize with both of them. what they experienced was also what he felt when he uncovered the truth about his brother. i guess that was his last attempt, for his own satisfaction. he probably knew its a trap but did it anyway.

"is there a romance in it?"
question
when i watch the first 2 eps i know immediately this is my kind of drama, the atmosphere, the tension, the character, how the story progress, how each clue was thrown or hidden, i just know when i saw them.
everyone got their own conclusion, for the better or worse everything was moving forward, and i think thats good enough
also i didnt feel the story was to slow or rushed at any stage at all. everything was told with a reason, no screentime was wasted. about the things they didnt explained further i dont think they were significant enough to affect the course of the story, they were also not directly related the main plot either.
everything was with a reason, a meaning, a message. nothing was done unnecessarily.
