Of course, Murong is abusive and literally want to break Yin Lou mentally and emotionally (can be seen in previews). He’s controlling and manipulative, literally a walking RED FLAG, incurable. He’s so obssesed with power which makes him think that he can do anything and impose them as a threat if they has more power over him ( Xiao Duo)

I don’t fully disagree with your statement. Murong Gaogong is truly a disgusting character. You can’t excuse a person who forces someone to be theirs even if it means locking them up and make them live in fear.
Yin Lou has never act intimate towards Murong in anyway and always find reasons to dodge his suppose “love.” These can be seen when he want to eat together with Yin Lou, feed her the soup, ask for her nickname but she always refuses. I would hope he take hints that SHE doesn’t like him but Murong became anxious because of Yin Lou’s actions which form doubts and distrust. He wants her but doesn’t trust her. I agree that he became obssessed with her but I believe that Yin Lou’s actions causes them to be honest. I don’t blame her though, coz why would she act intimate towards someone she doesn’t love to begin with? I love her straightforwardness and hope it wont become her flaw later 🥹

People have different opinion and this is all speculation until they said it themselves but I respect your opinion.

Man… My literal point is that IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW MUCH CONTENT THEY CUT. THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT THE WAY THEY CONJOINTED THE SCENES TOGETHER AFTER THOSE CUTS. THEY ARE THE PROFESSIONALS. Even if those scenes are forcely cut, they could have edit the drama better so it could flow smoothly and doesn’t look like an utterly mess. If they are force to cut whatever scenes because of scensorship then it’s completely understandable but evidently, they still did a poor job with the editing.
I usually never comment on the editing and production but upon watching this drama, it came across my mind how bad it is .
Regardless of course I’m glad it still does well in China and popularity is well deserve based on how hard everyone work for this project. I’m just disappointed because this plot is VERY GOOD and has so much potential.

I understand scensorship but don’t want to shift blame on it because of how bad the editing is lol. I’m not trying to be biased here. Sure, scensorship played a major role but they are professional here. They should know when a drama is ready to air and up to standard to satisfied the audience expectations. I am just disappointed because I was really looking forward to this drama and thought it would be an impactful one.
I rather them delayed the airing and provide us with a high production later than this one to be honest.

Many Chinese drama that are currently being film still added kiss scenes to it like Dylan and Bai Lu’s new drama being filmed right now.
I’m not questioning Chinese scensorship in this drama because it’s not base on the cut alone that’s frustrating but the re-editing that is disjointed and doesn’t flow.

This is my own interpretation but episode 25-26 "boat" emoji can be refer to when they sat in front of the boat together in both the trailer and beginning intro. Though, I can't be too sure.

I'm not shifting blame on anyone because I don't know who's fault it is. I'm just disappointed at the production and how they handle the problem. I rather have a drama delayed airing and aired when it is ready and up to standards than push the airing date just to find out everything is a mess. For example, that bath scene did not sit right with me LOL. They just let Ying Lou have a bath scene flash backs out of nowhere and was never even mentioned which is unnecessary and I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT'S A FLASH BACK TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE IN THE TRAILER, IT WAS AN ACTUAL SCENE LOL, etc.
- I just hope it gets better from here on out and end smoothly. I'm just glad it does well in China and have always been on weibo checking up on it.

I'm not going to provide input on each individual episode and judge its editing. I'm talking about the overall production and why there are many complaints about it. As I said, if there are MANY complaints about the editing, cutting, and flow of the drama then you know where the problem lies. Did the director make it clear why the scenes are cut? He never clarifies anything. You have to admit that the episodes were choppy and disjointed and it might be because of TOO many cut scenes or it might not be.
I was looking forward to this drama ever since the trailers and it looks pretty promising. I really hope it finds the success it deserves, but it's frustrating to be disappointed not in the plot/script, and characters but in the production itself where A LOT of things can be saved.

But I don’t know if cutting the intimate scenes are because of the scensorship which the director has never provides any comments specifically about this matter. The fact that not just the kisses being deleted but many other scenes as well which became frustrating. I rather them delay the airing and produce a decent drama than lazy editing to push the airing date 🙄

I disagree lol, they cut many scenes which overthrow their relationship and the meaning of it. Sometimes the edit makes the episode not flow well together. This is the first drama that made me feel like it’s unorganized and all over the place. Their interactions were cute and that’s about it that’s why I said Yukee Chen and Dylan Wang saved this drama a big time. The plot/script has so much potential, don’t get me wrong but when you have so many people complain about these things then you already know where the problem manifested.
I rather delayed this drama’s airing date with some high end production and editting than having it became like this just to have it air early. It just seem like they cut the original scenes and good it all lol.
