So you saying from now on, dramas will not have any intimate scenes? There are many scenes being cut that’s not a kiss scene as well.
Many Chinese drama that are currently being film still added kiss scenes to it like Dylan and Bai Lu’s new drama being filmed right now.
I’m not questioning Chinese scensorship in this drama because it’s not base on the cut alone that’s frustrating but the re-editing that is disjointed and doesn’t flow.

This is my own interpretation but episode 25-26 "boat" emoji can be refer to when they sat in front of the boat together in both the trailer and beginning intro. Though, I can't be too sure.

I'm not shifting blame on anyone because I don't know who's fault it is. I'm just disappointed at the production and how they handle the problem. I rather have a drama delayed airing and aired when it is ready and up to standards than push the airing date just to find out everything is a mess. For example, that bath scene did not sit right with me LOL. They just let Ying Lou have a bath scene flash backs out of nowhere and was never even mentioned which is unnecessary and I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT'S A FLASH BACK TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE IN THE TRAILER, IT WAS AN ACTUAL SCENE LOL, etc.
- I just hope it gets better from here on out and end smoothly. I'm just glad it does well in China and have always been on weibo checking up on it.

I'm not going to provide input on each individual episode and judge its editing. I'm talking about the overall production and why there are many complaints about it. As I said, if there are MANY complaints about the editing, cutting, and flow of the drama then you know where the problem lies. Did the director make it clear why the scenes are cut? He never clarifies anything. You have to admit that the episodes were choppy and disjointed and it might be because of TOO many cut scenes or it might not be.
I was looking forward to this drama ever since the trailers and it looks pretty promising. I really hope it finds the success it deserves, but it's frustrating to be disappointed not in the plot/script, and characters but in the production itself where A LOT of things can be saved.

But I don’t know if cutting the intimate scenes are because of the scensorship which the director has never provides any comments specifically about this matter. The fact that not just the kisses being deleted but many other scenes as well which became frustrating. I rather them delay the airing and produce a decent drama than lazy editing to push the airing date 🙄

I disagree lol, they cut many scenes which overthrow their relationship and the meaning of it. Sometimes the edit makes the episode not flow well together. This is the first drama that made me feel like it’s unorganized and all over the place. Their interactions were cute and that’s about it that’s why I said Yukee Chen and Dylan Wang saved this drama a big time. The plot/script has so much potential, don’t get me wrong but when you have so many people complain about these things then you already know where the problem manifested.

Censorship has always been strict though? Did it became stricter? because I wouldn't blame this on censorship with how bad the editing are right now LOL. It's literally laughable at this point.

This man is full of issues. I kinda understand him though as she always put a distance between them and find excuses not to give her nickname to him. Man can't take hint because he's blinded by love and power. He thinks that by having power, he can have her even if it's by force. TRULY DISGUSTING .__.

For everyone that says a lot of scenes were cut because of "Chinese Censorships" which IN MY HUMBLE opinion, IT'S COMPLETELY BULLSHT.
I only know that China censorship is stricter when it comes to BL dramas that's why "Winner is King" and "Immortality" hasn't received an airing date even after finishing filming for so long.
The intimate scenes from "Unchained Love" are cute and not too overbearing or not "fit." It's literally nothing compared to those that I've seen in other Chinese dramas so there's no reason to cut it or do I think it didn't pass the censorship.
The editing is just simply bad and turns a GOOD show into a huge mess. I've never seen a show with SUCH bad editing and production even though they cast an A-tier actor and actress. I honestly think the only reason why this show is saved is because of Dylan Wang and Yukee Chen's chemistry and character portrayals.

Yes, I do understand. The storyline is actually pretty good and has so much potential too but now it's being wasted due to bad editing and flow. I just hate good story going to waste. I like Dylan and Yukee pairing as well and REALLY looking forward to this drama but the scenes just don't click well with each other and it's frustrating to the audiences.
We'll see how this story unfolds... Hopefully it will get better *fingercrossed*

I don’t think scensorship can be that bad THAT they cut every kiss and intimate scenes because I’ve seen worse in a Chinese drama. Their intimate scenes is nothing compare to some other ones that I’ve watch. They are all professional and I don’t want to judge them because it’s their job but I’ve always wonder if they REWATCH what they did and really think that IT IS OKAY to finalized this project LMFAO.

Most Chinese historical dramas are 50+ episodes long with more touch on political/conflict part of the story except those mini drama or low budget. I don’t believe it’s because the drama is long, 36 episodes is already considered short for a historical drama. The main reason is the weak editing, organization and flow of the drama.
You can’t compare a chinese episode with a korean episode. If you haven’t noticed, korean drama episodes are usually 1+ hour long and never have any long intro compare to chinese drama that has both intro and ending theme and are usually only 50 mins max. MOST Korean dramas are 16 episodes too fyi.

I was here when everyone was cursing the shxx out of episode 9 predicting the “outcome” of episode 10 😂😂.
Ep 10 was the closure that we needed!! BRAVO 🎉 Now, if we get another drama with Jae Wook and Yoon Jung, that would be perfect 🥰🥰

There are always people like that in every mydramalist show. Despite it, AoS2 still sustained a 9.1 rating which proves how AMAZING the show is.

I honestly think the editing and cutting is ruining such a good show. This drama has so much potential and I was really looking forward to it. The characters both FL and ML are to my liking and not annoying like others, but it’s literally all over the place. The scenes are not orgainze and sometimes doesn’t flow smoothly which is reaally annoying. MAN I REALLY LIKE THIS STORY TOO AND THEY JUST HAD TO RUIN IT 🤡🤡
