I don't think this drama is the type that gets a lot of attention from international fans but it's doing really well on Chinese platform. Tops everything so I'm not too worry about mydramalist ratings. It's also currently #1 as top TV shows.

Heh, I feel like we're just commenting based on what happen in the current episode and of course yields our concerns with our FL's health if it's not treated. There are also psychologists who provide knowledge on what happen if they want to conceal it forever. Our basic question is that why didn't they showcase them seeking a doctor or psychologist for help yk? Never in my life have I seen or heard of such illness that allows a young person to have repeated amnesia.
Of course now we know what happen and how serious it is, we understand their actions. AND NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD I THINK THAT JANG YI MAKE A GAME JUST TO CURE HER. MY LORD THIS MAN IS JUST 1 IN A TRILLION.

I truly admires Jiang Yi and all the sacrifices he does for love. Like every episode, bro just keep exceed our expectations. It’s crazy to me how the root of Yifei’s misfortune was done by her parents. Yifei has to overcome both emotional and physical abuse to afford a normal life ( which she was never able to achieve) AND her last breath was taken away by her mother.

Looking at the preview, it seems Ying Zi fainted and forgot what happened. Her friends proceed to lie to her about Yifei. It's getting annoying and not good for her health at all. My girl needs to face reality even if it's painful and receive treatment. She can't just live in a bubble that's made up of lies.

The fact that he's been keeping Ying Zi company through Yifei's email.. to some people it could be seem as sweet but I found it very uncomfortable. Like instead of contacting her as Jiang Yi, you decide to cut off contacts and disguise yourself as Yifei. I do know that Jiang Yi has good intentions but it's just wrong yk? I agree as you say it's invading her privacy as well because conversations between guy friend and a girl friend is completely different.

There aren't really any love triangle but there will be side characters that make the lead jealous. They are official on ep 20.

Someone on Weibo explained the source of Jiang Yi's insecurities which stems from knowing that Ying Zi's memory is disordered so he believes that Ying Zi's love comes from attachment to the past, rather than from her heart.

This can be evident when he talks about it in episode 23. This makes a lot of sense as to why he decided to love her secretly fearing their friendship would end otherwise.

Yeah, I completely agree with you on this part as I stated above. The FL is wrong for not rejecting Ding Ye let alone spending a night on the mountain uncontactable. Jiang Yi has every right to be angry and question her actions at this point. Ying Zi needs to learn when to draw the line between friends. I'm just glad at this point that Ying Zi successfully coaxed the angry man~~

It's kinda hard trying to understand this Ding Ye character as there's no background about him but I hope he knows his boundaries. I think he's just lonely and wants someone to accompany him but we'll have to see later. I don't think he's a bad person but ye...

Loved each other at the age of 17, and still love each other 12 years later. There's no doubt about their feelings for each other. Evident that they both get jealous easily haha. Ying Zi and Jiang Yi have their flaws. Jiang Yi isn't expressive and Ying Zi doesn't know when to draw a line between friends. They both cause misunderstandings but are willing to admit their wrongs to make it right. I love how their misunderstandings never escalate to anything big and are solved within the next day.

There are always 2 sides to how people want to understand the situation. I stated in the other comment below but yeah. Some people seem to have a lack of understanding about a character and the reasons for their actions. THEY DO DESERVE EACH OTHER AS BOTH SACRIFICE SO MUCH.
p/s: I check Weibo every day and all words are positive and I understand both characters so it's pretty surprising to see people not liking the FL lol.

You are inserting different context to my explaination. OF COURSE she doesn’t explain the abroad thing because she deliberately did it so he could see. The FL doesn’t make the decision for him. She only does what she think it’s best for him. If Jiang Yi doesn’t want to go abroad then he could just not go no? She’s not forced anything again his will lol… This is just a different view point. She wants him to be successful in life over a love that who knows how long it will last. Jiang Yi on the other hand can argue that she could have talk to him instead of the act and push him away. I don’t think anyone is in the wrong, it’s just what you prioritize.

Ying Zi also explained to Jiang Yi that they are just friends and Ding Ye is someone she admires. His situation is a little different because Ding Ye want to keep his illness a secret. YOU LITERALLY CANT BLAME YING ZI COZ WAS SHE THE ONE SUGGEST THE LOCATION? not really. Being a nice person as she is, she just want to accompany him for his dying wish because she knew that with Ding Ye’s personality, he probably doesn’t have any friends. I literally agree with you that the FL is in the wrong for not rejecting Ding Ye to go on a camping trip not including Ding Ye lacks of consideration. I understand Jiang Yi’s anger at this part.

I’m not saying it’s anyone’s fault lmfao, I’m literally.. without biased stating each perspective. Not every relationship/person is perfect, they have flaws and mistakes. You might think that it’s the ML decisions and he can do w/e tf he wants but to Ying Zi, all she wants is for him to do something he loves and prioritize his interest over herself. Occupation is an importation part of your life but love at 18 isn’t.

I admires Jiang Yi’s love for Ying Zi but it’s frustrating to see that he never shows affection or proactively seeking for her. He just silently, timidly loves her. He’s someone that doesn’t express himself to others which could be a problem because there would be no progress (this is evident through his career as well). Through misunderstandings, communications, compromising, they both took a step forward in this relationship. I’m still happy that whatever happens happened which allow them both to realize how important they are to each other.

Jiang Yi should never think like that. Ying Zi declare that she ADMIRES Ding Ye as a writer and want to be friend with him. If Jiang Yi ever thinks the FL as someone who sleep around then he doesn't respect or understand her at all. Saying something like that is just disrespectful to the FL tbh.

I do understand Jiang Yi's feelings and anxiousness because Ding Ye is someone who Ying Zi admires since childhood and he could easily lose her to him.

I don't fully agree with you. Being in love doesn't necessarily mean being together. Ying Zi prioritizes Jiang Yi's future and wants him to succeed as a game designer. Given Jiang Yi's current academic challenges, she believes sacrificing their relationship is necessary for his future success. I view Ying Zi as a mature person at the age of 18, she knows that love at that age doesn't guarantee forever. I'm pretty sure she acted all that out so Jiang Yi can leave without hesitation.

From your viewpoint, Jiang Yi could have asserted himself and declined Chloe's request to visit his house. Allowing a friend to access personal space late at night doesn't look right either.

In Ying Zi's perspective, Ding Ye is someone she deeply admires and wishes to befriend. Of course, we might think that Ding Ye isn't going to die but based on Ying Zi's perspective alone, there's sees nothing wrong in accompanying a friend ( to the amusement park and other interactions). I agree that she should have declined Ding Ye's invitation due to her prior appointment with Jiang Yi. This is where I think Ying Zi is wrong and she does apologize to Jiang Yi.

Jiang Yi is someone who keeps feelings to himself and is rarely open to anyone. What he lacks in this relationship is communication. No matter how much Ying Zi tried to explain, he ignored her. I feel like Jiang Yi is like a baby, always wanting to be coaxed. Once he gets jealous, he throws a tantrum and ignores her calls. Sometimes, I feel like he's putting a wall between the two.

I kinda understand what you mean. Jiang Yi really loves Ying Zi and does everything in silence for her just to see her happy. He's someone that loves without wanting anything in return... But as he became older, he grew more timid and isn't someone to like to express themselves and open up to people. Ying Zi has always been the one approaching him, being proactive to make things work between the two. It's frustrating sometimes but understanable to certain extend.
