When it comes to the term "feminine", I am judging how well they match purely by their looks and nothing else. I am not familiar with any of the actor that I mentioned, either BJT or ZXW. That's why I did not judge them on their acting skills because I know that they ARE GOOD.

I only judge purely by appearance and as you said, BJT has a small built, but Sang Yan that I imagined is tall, manly look ish, I don't know how to describe it to you. :(

If that's the case, then I'll be excited to see how he performs and how well he fits the role as I am just too big of a fan for this novel. I just had to vent a bit sorry. Hopefully he will brings out the best in Sang Yan and erase my doubts about him.

I watched quite a bit of Jin Yan’s drama, and she sounds the same in her historical dramas’ works. I guess she either dubbed herself or use the same one everytime 😅

Yes, his angelic facial structure is what isn't giving the Sang Yan vibe for me personally but of course, I'll still support the drama and will look forward to their portrayals. I am not Bai Jing Ting's fan so I am biased towards other actors that can "look" like Sang Yan.

The only drama I watch from him is Destined... didn't make it that far though, but I never doubt his acting skills. Man's goofy in there haha xD.

I mentioned Zhai Xiao Wen upon looking at the casting album. I'm not comparing their characteristics nor how they act because the only drama I watch with him in it is Falling For Your Smile. I'm mainly looking at their facial structure and a fit for the ML. I just mention his name upon looking at those casting photos and think he has the style to be Sang Yan.

I don't know if you read the manhua but the art is very beautiful. If you search up Sang Yan, you'll see how FINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this man ISSSSS, and hopefully you’ll understand a bit of what I’m talking about.

I'm not saying Jing Ting can't perform well as Sang Yan nor do I doubt his acting skills. Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising him in at all. As a manhua/novel follower, I just don't think his facial structure, body image fits Sang Yan that well. When it comes to Sang Yan, I could see more of his masculine side, broad shoulder, etc but Jing Ting looks more on the feminine side. I can't really think of one atm but looking at the casting, someone like Zhai Xiao Wen(?) could really fit the Sang Yan's image.

Sorry I didn't mean to come off as rude with my comments. I'm just a bit sad because thoughout the year, there has been MANY MANY ML's rotation for this adaption and the confirmation was the least expected one.

As a BIG fan of Sang Yan (MY MAN MY LOVE MY LIFE). I was a little dissapointed with this ML casting. No hate to Jing Ting, I just think that he doesn't really fit the character of Sang Yan when it comes to his features and personality wise. Sang Yan is cold, arrogant but is a cheeky guy with Yi Fan <3.

I have been waiting for SO LONG and it's finally HERE. It's been so long that I barely remember much details about this drama but I do remember that I WAS SHOOK ON HOW GOOD IT WAS.

It's suffocating the FL tbh. Can be seen when she lashes out at her mom in the preview. It just seems like she can't escape from her mom no matter where she went. She's intruding her personal space, work, home or even outing. The FL's 29 but it seems like she's locked in a cage. No freedom whatsoever.

I used to live with my relatives when I was little and there's still stuff that's off limits. As you say, she need to learn boundaries. Even if they are "related," she still need to be considerate of other people, and especially when it's THINGS that's NOT her. I remember the preview of next episode where Huan has some financial issues and wanted to hold off buying a house and Huan's mom was getting irritated and complain about it instead of understanding her situation really describes how bad of a mom she is.

Honestly, At first, I can tolerate Huan's mom because she's one of those that can make decisions thinking that it's best for her daughter. After today's episode (22) I can't understand her anymore. Wanting to move into someone else's house when it's not even theirs? Have the OWNER live in the attic? Does she not have any consideration when it comes to other people? At least be a little self aware!

I like Cheng Huan's personality. Strong will, observant, smart, mature, and independent. Though, sometimes it's good to rely on someone if you're struggling or stuck in a difficult situation. It doesn't mean that you're taking advantage of them hence she can always repay them later. The fact that she's too independent and strong will, rather help than be help can be a major flaw in real life.

I can tell that Jia Liang loves the FL sincerely regardless of her background but their personalities
are polar opposite from each other. The boyfriend is too immature and acts like a spoil child AS he is while the FL is reserved and knows exactly what she wants and strives for it.

Okay, the boyfriend lied to her once, she forgave, lied to her twice, she still forgave. It really showcases that she has a big heart and willing to be patient with him, but that family dinner make me realized that if he can't protect her against his family then her life will be miserable if they get married. He watched the FL's family get insulted by his sister. Instead of taking their side, defending them, he stood there and watch. Your sister is the problem but YOU, being there and do nothing to defend your future wife is the BIGGER problem.

Cheng Huan deserves better!

Tbh I don't really care about mdl ratings, it's a joke LOL. The drama is doing really well in China right now and it's just keep going.

I'M TOO EARLY FOR THIS DRAMA. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT EVERYDAY T________________T.
