I understand that everyone has different taste and view on beauty. You might think that Chaoyue is prettier but others can defer. Jin Yan by far is more experience in these types of role by looking at her previous works that I mentioned.

You said you haven't watch the full episode, so probably judge after finishing a few episode because Jin Yan portray the character really well.

I am not familiar with Chao Yue as I don't watch her works, but I don't think she's familiar with this genre (by looking at her MDL) . This doesn't mean I don't think she can't do it... Just that the FL's characteristics is Jin Yan's cup of tea ~

I don't know why everyone keep bringing up the age difference between co-star like it's a new trend? If you watch the drama, you wouldn't notice it a bit.

The scene where Duke Su bite the jade pedant of the FL in his war general suit is living in my mind RENT FREE. HE'S SO HOT THERE HOLY.

That's the interesting part about revenge. Going into a tiger's den, you have to outwit everyone, make all the right choices. One wrong step, and the consequences can be severe.

It provides a thrilling effect to the audience as we are on the edge of our seat looking forward to her problem solving skills. :D

Jin Yan is the perfect actress for this role if you seen her previous works; Story of the Yanxi Palace, Legend of Haolan, Royal Feast, etc. She can bring the character to life with her portrayal of a witty, strategy and smart thinking FL.

Jin Yan is also a very beautiful woman, so she's more than perfect!

This drama wouldn't have a revenge tag if the FL just gonna steal the identity of Jiang Li and live in wealth. It is clearly stated by Xue Fang Fei that she'll take back what belongs to Jang Li at the Coming Age Ceremony. Her actions also clearly proven if you just watch the 5 episodes..

Untouchable Lovers' just a MESS of a drama, I won't reccomend it. She's just a supporting role in there though but her beauty really captivates me LOL. Her career booms when she stars in The Story of Yanxi Palace. Her acting there is SPLENDID. It was a really popular drama back in 2019. I didn't watch all of her drama because I mostly enjoy her in historical more. I think she brings out her best in these type of drama, Revenge/schemy/intriguing type.

I’m like captivated by her beauty ever since her appearance in Untouchable Lovers. She’s like a goddess, it’s insane.
