i mean CDL would've been fine as the lead IMO, but why would CX accept playing the 2fl(yeah CDL is better than CX in terms of acting IMO)? shes fine playing the leads on her dramas already, not like she needs more secondary roles as she's constantly the lead on her projects for years already. and for sure shes not behind her when it comes to popularity alone, there's tons of actress that would've suit better as the 2fl be it in terms of acting and popularity, what makes this worse IMO is the CDL fans is kinda aggressive so IMO this doesn't makes sense at least for CX career growth. she also has a big fandom so it may end up being some sort of delulu fandom war if things does not go well between the two fandoms or if something riles up between the two parties.. and it's not like a big big production, like some movies that involves multiple big names lol, its a short drama with a questionable casting imo/

you're not the only one thinking that way lol. he's just there for no reason at all than just being a creep and…
im just passed their 2nd tribulation and i hate how they act all goody2 back in the heavenly realm, i get that their all good and haved moved on, but when the leads are having a kind of sweet moment back on the marriage pavilion during her promotion dinner, i hate that the director even adds Xui Ming besides the leads having a nice talk for no reason, hes just there sleeping drunk😂😅, and at the start of their 3rd life I was glad like the creep ddint come with them but the next episode hes back and even decides to be the FLs childhood sweetheart in his head 😒🤣, the writers should definitely exp having a creep in their life for once,
On Love You Seven Times Sep 4, 2023
err just started this show but I've never seen a realm-crossing double face creep like Xiu Ming ever before, he's not a total creep like some of the other dramas SML, but is he always in their tribulations? in other dramas the creep is just in their main life and is still plotting behind while the leads do their mortal tribulations but this one decides to be just a creep and follow and insert himself on to the FL lives? it's such a total turn off/This is the definition of a stalker from another realm, adasdadadasd
On Be My Dream Family Sep 2, 2023
well it's a great slice of life daily drama, no over the top makjang plots,(which is rare for a daily drama) a gem imo, if your a fan of daily dramas you mostly cant complain about this change of pace on daily dramaa, no wine pouring, chicken slapping, amnesia, secrets birth or even the usual health problems from one of the leads that is usually present at the ends of these types of dramas, oh theres no true villain either, mostly are grey characters with some sort of reason that is somewhat understandable and can be relatable at times.
On You Are Desire Aug 29, 2023
so happy ending? care to elaborate, I don't mind spoilers, as reading comments, it seems to be another lackluster ending but current reviews have 10,9 etc. so it seems not that bad? iguess?
On You Are Desire Aug 15, 2023
guess have to wait on Viki, AGAIN, mango has subscriptions already. but years passed and they still do not have proper translators. it's not even that expensive for a streaming company that makes its own series. they have some decent dramas but god their subs makes you feel like and idiot reading broken translations..

I dont understand the tone of this drama , is this supposed to be funny or serious ?
well just comment here in like a month or so if it's at least watchable. i wanna watch another daily but sometimes it's just too much.

On King the Land Aug 6, 2023
at least it ended well lol, there's definitely a lot of loopholes as the weird writing and directing from the rookie crew are very evident, but nonetheless, 7.5-8 for me, could have done better if it's 12 eps as the writing is really lackluster, removed the useless corporate makjang stuff from the later parts as it's really weird and just too out of place all of a sudden, can even lessen Hwa Ran's appearance as she's really not a villain to be(just bitter in life) and just 12 eps of romcom stuff from the leads and i would've been fine with it.

sad but true, cdramas outshining kdramas these past few months, probably since the latter releases 2-3x series…
tons of them, can't count even lol probably 1 out of 5 releases are good 2 are average the other are just trash, but as I've said cdrama releases are 2-3x more compared to kdramas, probably why i feel i've watch more decent c than k dramas lately cuz for kdramas the once being praise will be watch automatically but if it turns out mediocre it kinda is a bummer.

honestly, this is way too long for a 16-ep series.. given that the writer and the director are somewhat new, I can clearly see why(some of the scenes are just kinda cringed for being a modern drama), the tone of the series feels like pre-2015 series with a bag of modern world culture and series propaganda in which honestly nothing more than toxicity, the leads carried this series hard and some of the supporting casts.. nothing new cute romance by the leads and the usual money hunger villains (ie. in which honestly she thought she have brains like einstein but thats it, all talk but no bite, only a fool would think that shes up to no good.. i mean even from the starting few episodes shes all talk, and just blatantly try to take credit from others work. that's no quantum physics logic thats just basic math and a blatant one at that, won just let's her but she thinks nobody notices it. and the way she acts like shes smarter than everyone..😂😂, i can get by with villains with sharp-tounges but the brains to back it up, as this kinda is the trend for modern villains. but this one is just old school.. at least it'll end tomorrow

Do we have a date for season 2 and maybe even season 3?
season 2 for what, more breakup. probably can add amnesia? lol, this season is quite long for it's story imho, can be allocated to 12 eps even i think, and this has romcom setting, compared to kdramas that have multiple seasons i.e series that has 3/4 scenarios ep plotline, romcom that tries to span another season adds a very convoluted plot. in which involves amnesia, very stupid breakup reasons etc.. which i think makes it worse than it is as those belong to weekend/weekdays dramas, season 1 should come to an end properly and thats it, this type of projects should be one and done..

I think I prefer Netflix because they make it more understandable to me. However I saw that they translated one…
it's not translated wrong per se, it's more like they simplified it, and it's not really a big deal, unless you compare the two subs or understand a bit of mandarin(it is mostly common on references etc.).. youku does it to but on a much lower scale... and Netflix imo has this habit of doing this.

yeah i checked them both, Netflix subs is no doubt good and pretty accurate but as usual they used words that are supposed or rather have better phrasing, so all in all youku has better subs but netflix has better video quality(checked them both in 1080 and netflix has better overall) and better sub sync i think, so yeah, aside from some weird translation phrasing they pretty same, ill watch it on youku tho.

anyone knows what site has better subs? netflix or youku? netflix for all i know sometimes makes their own translation pretty understandable but the wording and phrases is kinda different.

I was think Kim Seul Gi like seven both look way younger and can play teens but are older
difference is Tan Song Yun is very popular in CN and acts really well while KSG is pretty meh lately, she's either on a small project or just in a supporting role/guest. cant say shes a bad fit as shes better in acting compared to jcy imo but even chaeyeon is not pretty credible in terms of projects so im really sceptical for the FL lead. the male, lets face it song wei longs character is pretty meh and is much easier to portray compared to the FL so hwang in yeop can pretty much nail it, his acting has been questioned a few times and some says hes good at playing cold, cool small talk characters so i means thats picture perfect for him i guess.
lo_ve Apr 20, 2023
hwang in yeop probably can play the male as song wei long is known for kinda stiff acting, but for tang songyun, jcy needs a lot of ground to cover and improve on her acting, imo someone like kim yoo jung or other prominent child actresses who have transitioned into adult roles have better chances, but nonetheless ill give her the benefit of doubt.
On Have a Crush on You Feb 26, 2023
End it at 30 and it will have at bare 8-9(rating). rest is trash and unnecessary at most ill give that 6 episodes a 5(rating) personally (CDRAMA writers and directors did it again, and proved that cdramas preferred ending is either meh, rush, tragic, or completely out of context)

I was thinking about that and wondering how much control they have over the projects they choose, i mean why would…
they probably have at least some say on their projects as they are manage by studios under their names, well Sophie and XZL at least, and riley is under LKP iirc.
