Sol Hee was the female lead who heard lies and came across Do Ha who does not lie. Sol Hee never became whiny or annoying. I loved her interactions with all the cast. Her friendship with the tarot reader & her bodyguard was so sweet & funny. I even loved when she had scenes with the second male lead who was such a cutie. I will admit they would have been great together, but I was firmly on the male lead side. I love how the SL never became hateful or obsessive instead he applied the concept of "if you love her, let her go" to his situation. I really hope I see more of the actor. As for Do Ha, I felt so sorry that he was a victim of so many people being so obsessed with him... all he did was be kind, caring & handsome while minding his business.
Of course, I picked this drama up for Minhyun because that is my WannaOne/NU'EST guy & I definitely inhaled My Lovely Liar. It was super easy to binge. The unique plot caught my attention right from the beginning. So, add the unexpectedly amazing chemistry of the leads, humor, great supporting cast friends, and OST with the twists and it is a great overall drama. Also, I did not feel as though I was left hanging by the ending because the ending was so complete and satisfactory!
Minhyun reminds me so much of Eunwoo with his looks. He gave me my much-needed Eunwoo fix, but he & Kim So Hyun were so great together.
I was so excited to get to the 3rd tribulation & even though it has its funny moment, I prefer the 2nd tribulation. I would like for them to go to the mortal world with no memories intact, but then the big evil would have an easier access to them. Smh.
I had no problems with these endings: -The King: Eternal Monarch (I have seen this about 5 times & the ending was just fine) -DoTS (such a happy ending) -See You In My 19th Life (the ending makes sense) -The Wolf (tragic but made sense) -Alchemy of Souls (tragic but part 2) -The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (Sad but I was alright with it) -Crash Landing on You (wait, I remember a HE) -Goblin (everyone is happy without all the sadness) -Boys Over Flowers (Jun Pyo & Kim Bum's characters were happy so that is all that I needed for a HEA for me) -The Starry Love (I can see why people were mad but the journey of the characters was TOO good for me to forget.)
Could have been better but not the worst -Till the End of the Moon (I could see why someone would hate this, but the chemistry between Yunxi + Bai Lu made the journey of the drama worth it for me. -The Eternal Love (but there is a pt. 2)
Worst Endings -Reborn Rich takes the top spot for me... it knocked it down from being a 10 drama... still mad just thinking about it now
-Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol - the ML deserves to be slapped for what he did towards the ending... this was my worst ending until I saw Reborn Rich
-Memories of the Alhambra - this plot was so good & had me staying up late just to watch the weekly episodes only for it to end in such a trashy way. I feel like everything happened for no reason.
- Now, We Are Breaking Up - This show was so unfortunate to watch because the first 11 episodes were alright but those last 5 were abysmal & the ending made it even worse.
Heartbeat is just a terrible show that no one should watch.
My dream K-Dramas pairing that is Hyo Joo + In Sung is living up to the hype in my head! I mean I loved the kids romance, but the backstory of the parents budding romance has my heart right now!!
Both the lead & second lead couple are so adorable! I can tell this is about to be a long journey to happiness for them! That 2nd love tribulation was brutal!
him beating her... whew chile. How are we coming back from that?
That is true that she could have been a spy which is why I did not outright hate him, but I was still upset he lashed her. I hope she gives him a run for his money when he falls in love with her... just for a little payback😊
