Finally finished part 1! This story is good so far! All the actors brought their A-game. The romance between the leads is little to nonexistent, but I still loved it because laid down the foundation for all the backstories and gave the FL time to grow bc lord she needed it.

It took a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time, but she finally realized that Ling Biyu is the only one for her. I better see so much romance in the next part to make up for everything in this part.

Also, Ling Biyu and the Emperor are my favorite characters in part 1! 9/10

I love how every single character is interesting so even if it is not focused on the main leads I am still enjoying the side characters.
