I watched this not knowing either the ML & SML... and I have to say Xufeng is the perfect ML character so it is easy to root for him, while the SML has his reasons for doing everything so it is eventually easy to sympathize with him!
That being said, if you have a soft spot for Luo Yunxi (who I love now), then yes you are going to get high SLS!
-Plot: Ashes of Love -Male Lead: Ashes of Love. I do love Sifeng very much, BUT ALLEN and those acting skills in key scenes... he DID THAT! -Female Lead: L&R, mainly bc when Jinmi did what she did I felt like I never truly forgave her. Chemistry: BOTH were equally good. I mean fire every time Second Male Lead: AoL, he got on my nerves, but he made you feel sympathy for him although not enough to get the FL. Meanwhile, L&R SML just needed to go! Secondary Couples: Both had one great secondary couple I liked! Villains: Both.
I prefer Ashes of Love, but Love & Redemption deserves to be watched as well.
But Immortal Samsara is great and should be watched now!
This mortal realm arc is so amazing so far. I love that Yandan is back to her fun, witty self & I love Tangzhou.. he is much more playful than Yingyuan.
The Emperor was using crazy tactics to get Niao Niao to confess, but we all got what we wanted at the end.
Loving Biyu's & Niao Niao's relationship... so healthy & full of communication right now... I especially love how he was ready to do whatever for his babe even if he got to burn the world down. The look in his eyes during that scene was killer... great acting from Leo. Shit seems like it is about to go down. Biyu is on a mission with this revenge & I feel no one is safe.

So far, I think this is worth the watch! I love the plot & the story-line! It has a tragic undertone to it bc there are misunderstandings that could be solve if the ML was not so stubborn!
