it is my best Taiwanese BL and BL of 2021 so far. To My Star is a close 2nd. But for me, it can be toppled by…
Point taken. However, let's be honest that some teasers/trailers of upcoming/ongoing Thai BLs have always been catered to audience to make them hype about the series, and some of us, of course, will inevitably set higher expectations on the basis of what we've seen in their trailers.

Let's hope that these series won't disappoint us, rather exceed our expectations.

Person Hu Xian Xu
His impressive performance in the Chinese adaptation of Hikaru No Go deserves an international award for Best Actor!

The tale of friendship between the main leads is surprisingly impactful! What I certainly learnt from this series is that in life, comprises are part of humanizing experience.

You should include Ten, a Thai actor who starred in Gay OK Bangkok. That series tackles issues surrounding modern Thai gay men in Metropolitan Bangkok.

I think one issue that I see is not the message the series conveys to viewers. It is the casts themselves that I find problematic in terms of acting performance. We can be lenient since I believe these people are newbies in the showbiz industry. However, if there will be a sequel for this series, I suggest they need to attend several acting workshops to enhance their skills needed. To be honest, some scenes are becoming awkward because the interaction among the characters are out of emotion and oftentimes not executed well.

this was wonderful for what it was, top notch all around. the only reason why I can't give it a 10 is because…
If I were the writer and the director, I would not even label GSP as BL (because I find most BL dramas infused with heteronormativity), rather I would call it Queer series.
On Like in the Movies Nov 21, 2020
What stands out about this series is the sincerity to deliver "our" stories. It is incomparable to many of its likes that are sprouting like mushrooms. I had hinted before that the ending would be open ended like what JP Habac also did in his film, 'I'm Drunk, I Love You.' I concurred with other comments below who pointed out that it is a matter of time that a sequel is needed. I would like to see other shooting location including UP Diliman where both Karl and Vlad are enrolled in their classes. Time and preparation are two ingredients to make Season 2 successful. Let's hope for it!

I guess the ex-boyfriend of Pearl, James, is Cedrick Juan? I am also too curious who between Iana and Rachel will play the role of Karleen Gregorio.
