Huhu saaaame!! But let's hope that they will hear that we want season 2 if they're going to end with 10 eps for…
Uy ha. I'm not here to spoil the fun. I've always wanted to have a sequel so badly. Rarely do we see BL series that has outstanding actors and best story line. Gameboys is one of the series I'm grateful for. Hopefully, our plea will be heard soon.
Ep. 9 will be out at 8 pm, then next Friday will be the finale. I am gonna miss Cai, Gav, and Pearl so much! If only Dir. Payawal could extend until 12 episodes, I would be the happiest viewer!
It's extraordinary, u will encounter different types of feeling. IMO it's enjoyable, it holds great means from…
Good to know. But are there themes that disturb you such as representing women as domesticated or weakling? I'm asking this question because I last saw a Lakorn which made me feel sick about the series with underlying themes such as rape culture, abusive husband, manipulative behavior of men in power?
The IdeaFirst Company did it again. Worth the struggle of waiting one week for Episode 8. It has answered questions that were left behind by the previous episode. Before the series ends, I'm sure the director and the writer are formulating a happy ending which is not cliche found in most Asian BL series, but an ending that still surprises us and brings out the best story we deserve!
This one is a Filipino gay series, not really a BL series.
The term, definition, and aim of BL as media genre has evolved throughout time since its incipient. I would add what I discovered recently. In the Philippines, the rise of BL series are coming its way in digital and even mainstream--- if the Pandemic would permit their fate---but according to an anthropologist, every Asian country has adapted the genre by appropriating it in accordance with the national culture. It is not surprising that Thai BL is, really, different from Japan, Philippines. and Taiwan's because cultural appropriation is framed at each country's pop culture, for instance. Anyway, I appreciate spending your time with me on this matter.

Wait, sorry. I got lost in translation. What do you mean "BL is a demographic" by this sentence? Does the BL media genre (be it in filmography and literature) have something to do with population studies (the study of group of people in terms of variables /factors such as age, birth sex, occupation, etc.)? Enlighten me please.

It doesn't matter what category it belongs to, but the message it conveys to viewers are the most relevant in this day and age. If I were to correct my previous comment above, LGBTQIA+ would be the right film category whereas Boys Love would seem a sub film genre of the latter.
I have been thinking awhile since the franchise of ABS-CBN was denied, will the Black Sheep still produce episodes for this series? Or hindi naman totally affected ang series na'to sa dilemma ng kanilang home network?
