yes I think we can appreciate both but everyone has their preferences. I kinda like both types but thing still can't be too quick. Some think he is there to help show how much better the other guys are because they are certain in their steps. Some say, they will leave him there because he makes ASun and Haodu jealous, although A'Sun has no real reason to be jealous of him because Changge has no interest in him. Some think he will sacrifice himself for Changge. Some just say he is a waste and should be banished. lol He is an honest guy, just not very brave. Hope the actor gets better roles in the future. @Noway oooooooooh my I am here for it eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. Yes I think he has an inferiority complex. He has been raised to serve Tang and protect the Emperor and his interests with his life. He is of course loyal to his father. He's obviously a very great fighter/swordsman. The energy he was giving when he faced off verbally with Changge's shifu (love him) was really badass energy. Yeah A'Sun is more emotionally mature. But I think Haodu was a bit stunted in that way due to his upbringing but his general reasoning skills are good but when it comes to love......sigh. Once is gets the support and assurance from Leyan, I imagine him being a very cutesy husband.

I am a bit more drawn to ASun but I get what you are saying about Haodu's darkness. Leyan could do with a tough person beside her. I knows she has been through stuff now and is wiser for it but Haodu can still point things out to her. For example, when those men were trying to say that they were hurt in the scuffle involving the Crown Prince, Haodu could immediately see that the guy had put blood on himself to incite others., while Leyan was like poor guy. Meanwhile, Haodu could do with some lightening up and learn how to express his feelings.
