I haven't watched the Novoland series. Is it HE?

I think it's not the novel, but the show itself. PA season 1 had plagiarism issue. Despite of it, the show was still popular.

Ever since the season 1 drama diverge from the novel, this season 2 is a sequel of it. But, I doubt, they remove the plot from season 1 where Chu Qiao was an amnesiac master who lost her memory and became a slave. I don't know, if she's still the same character as season 1. Hence in season 1 finale, the cliffhanger shows that she regained her memory while being drowned in the lake.

It's like a continuation of the drama, Princess Agents, but not the original story. Hence, the drama itself diverge from the novel.

Don't know if they change or diverge the plot from the PA season 1. But in PA, she was already a martial master even before she became a slave of Zhuge family. She just lost her memory. Even at the finale, she's still didn't regain her past memory.

The novel has different plot. The PA drama is original story that diverge from the novel. However, some event still the same.

The naming is based on original novel. Zhuge Yue is the original name. But, the drama still follows the event of the Princess Agents drama not novel. In novel, Chu Qiao is a transmigrator from the modern world.

Don't know if she regained or not, but in PA, she was already an unfathomable master before she became a slave and her training with Zhuge Yue just awakened her instinct as a fighter.

Up to this sequel, she still hasn't fully regained her full memory.

But for me though, It's still best to watch PA. So that you can understand well, and know the true identity and hidden past of Chu Qiao. Especially the intro where she was being introduced as a mysterious martial art master, and she lost her memory and became a slave of Zhuge family.

He did not. He discreetly changing it. That's the reason why the prince became a villain, because he changed the plot since the beginning. His secretly finding an antidote for the poison and secretly building his own army were some that diverge the from the original plot.

They don't change the plot from PA, they just recasted it (That's good for me),changed how the finale of PA ends. And the FL really looks like Zhao Liying, just a little bit younger. I can understand why the FL is fully covered because she's still minor.

I'm not a novel reader, so. I am just guessing, sorry.

Xiahou Dan transmigrated earlier than her, which means even becoming Mad Emperor was his facade. And because he did not actually read much of the book, he doesn't know much details until Yu Wanyin arrived. Along the way, I believe he already recruited people to ensure his survival even Yu Wanyin came knowing his character is a villain of the story. This action might've changed the course of the plot.

He's not just pretending. He actually transmigrated but earlier than FL. So, being a Mad Emperor was him. But, because he transmigrated early, he deviates the original plot even from the beginning of the story.

So, his son is actually his son not from the original character. And prior to the beginning of the story he followed the original plot until FL arrived. However, being a transmigrator since he was a child, It seems there were subtle changes he made along the way even he followed the plot.

I have just one question...

Who is Mr. Bai who always orders him to kill Yu Wanyin? It seems this person is also a Transmigrator or someone with higher position than Empress Dowager.

The actress played the young Chu Qiao. And in light of the novel, the real age of Chu Qiao is actually is between 15s or early 18s. In ancient times 15 years old is marriageable age.

Though, Zhao Liying played Chu Qiao, it doesn't mean her age and Chu Qiao's age is the same. Chu Qiao is minor prior to the start of the series.

Still. It's just a speculation since the show is yet to start.

Because, in the end, there should be an explanation on how he didn't disappear. In any case, even in the altered timeline, he is still Haitang's son.
