Haha yeah I browsed the comments after posting this. I feel like I haven’t seen such a low rating in a long time, if ever, so it was surprising! I think I’ll give this a go when I need something light and cute.

I think it’ll be subbed pretty quickly! She’s in a parent BL story right now called Gameboys. They’ve upload episodes to YouTube every Friday during airing and they’ve been subbed right away or shortly thereafter, to my knowledge.

Yes, I was thinking along the same lines as you in that BLs are one type of drama (and honestly I tended to use lakorn and drama interchangeably so I viewed BLs as a type of lakorn, but I guess that was wrong haha). That also does make sense about “series” denoting serialization. I’ll have to go back and compare titles with only one season to titles with more than one.

I just started and love it! Only 4 episodes in, but it’s so addicting, I don’t want to stop watching!

Lol well pretty much the only Thai shows I watch are BL so I didn’t know they distinguished between lakorns and series (I just viewed them all as different genres of dramas). It did strike me as kind of silly though that they all say that, but it makes much more sense now that I know why haha

Ohhhh so this helps explain why so many series have “The Series” after their name lol (at least, I notice it with the BLs).

I feel like it’s been a long time coming with this series but when I saw the trailer a while ago I got super excited that it’s almost here!

Ohh yeah true! I often taken the ratings here like that haha especially with the Thai BLs. Very rarely do I agree with the ratings, and usually I think they’re slightly overrated (I’ve been burned so often lol). Good point about waiting a while to see if the rating levels off.

Thanks for this! I was debating whether to watch it or not. On the one hand I wasn’t super interested bc I can’t really stand Thai comedies (too slapstick and in-your-face for me) but on the other I was curious bc it had a high rating. The critiques you mentioned are what I was expecting f this would contain, which turned me off. So now that you’ve confirmed my suspicions I’m going to hold off indefinitely lol

So MaxTul it is eh? Ok, ok I can get behind that. Both have serious acting skills and can give that mature edge I’m hoping this series brings. We know any kissing will be good lol and their chemistry is definitely there. Fingers crossed the writers and director can deliver.
