lol that’s okay! Everyone has different opinions and enjoyment is so subjective. There have been numerous series that the community hyped that I thought were just okay, and vice versa haha. (Side note: I do see now that the rating went from 4.5 to 7.5, so I guess it’s catching up).

I think so! I didn’t watch the others, not even the Pete Kao cuts, and I was able to follow the storyline easily (though I’m sure the cuts will provide some context/background of you’re only interested in the BL storyline and want to watch that).

I think it’ll be subbed pretty quickly! She’s in a parent BL story right now called Gameboys. They’ve upload episodes to YouTube every Friday during airing and they’ve been subbed right away or shortly thereafter, to my knowledge.

Yes, I was thinking along the same lines as you in that BLs are one type of drama (and honestly I tended to use lakorn and drama interchangeably so I viewed BLs as a type of lakorn, but I guess that was wrong haha). That also does make sense about “series” denoting serialization. I’ll have to go back and compare titles with only one season to titles with more than one.

I just started and love it! Only 4 episodes in, but it’s so addicting, I don’t want to stop watching!

Lol well pretty much the only Thai shows I watch are BL so I didn’t know they distinguished between lakorns and series (I just viewed them all as different genres of dramas). It did strike me as kind of silly though that they all say that, but it makes much more sense now that I know why haha

Ohhhh so this helps explain why so many series have “The Series” after their name lol (at least, I notice it with the BLs).
