Agree. I think it’s important to remember what channels the GMM-produced shows air on because each has their own target audience (and I would assume ratings) which is reflected in the maturity level/tone of the show

Random but somewhat related side note—the kids referring to them as “mommy and daddy” is so cringey to me. Honestly, I wish they didn’t involve the younger siblings in the relationship development at all. I guess the director thought it was cute but to me it just comes off as weird.

Yeah, like OP said there’s a pretty graphic rape scene in the book, but it’s way toned down and glossed over here. No details, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d just think it was a drunk hookup.

Yeahhh tbh the widespread RamKing adoration baffles me (no offense to anyone—I just don’t get the appeal. King is cute but I can’t get on board with Ram’s expressionless facade). That said, I will take ALL the BohnDuen I can get lol

Finally watched this a few weeks ago when it showed up on Netflix. Wasn’t super interested in it before because I’m not much of a zombie person. But wow am I glad I watched it! It was so good! Thrilling, fast-paced, have you all kinds of feels. With this and Kingdom, maybe I’m not as opposed to zombies as I thought haha

Agree. Haven’t read the book, but I feel like with stellar scriptwriters who pick and choose carefully what to include instead of stupid scenes with meaningless dialogue, they could have accomplished this within the 4 episodes.

I actually really enjoyed it! The BL is cute but light so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking mainly for that, but honestly the overall drama left me really impressed. Nanon is such a good actor and he really leads the other cast well.
