There are other low budget wuxia and xianxia shows? Definitely. Doesn't mean they can't do and do better, especially with bigger budget and more qualifies directors (and art directors).

I think it does, since some are released as separate videos on tencent and have their own MDL pages, own posters, own promotional images ect. There is simply no proper category for those on the website, just like for extended / director cuts.

It was a remake he did inside the show, yes, but there are short movies from that same show that have their own pages on mdl and some that not. It's confusing.

I 'm not familiar with the original source, but I agree. Only 5 episodes left until the finale and they are still talking, power-upping, fighting and the usual stuff from the first episodes, the climax is barely there. No wonder the story needs another season! Too slow paced :/
