Sadly this season felt slow. The monsters were pretty weak and I'm not sure why the majority of them looks the same(mechs). Would definitely be more entertaining to see some actual combat instead of a bunch of people being scared but nothing really happening. Felt more like they want to milk the series at this point and not really entertain. Shame.
The last two episodes were hot trash. I'm fine with her being silly and childish sure but how does one forget the way her crush belittled her that quickly and just run at him. What about the fact that she's still in the body of the man and running towards someone who fought against him? Do you just forget that you swapped bodies or the fact that he may not be the guy you thought at first. They legit said let's turn her brain off everytime he's on screen with her and just have her run at him mindlessly. cringe af
It's definitely early to be making assumptions and I didn't check the webtoon or anything but there seem to be a lot of problems.
1. I read some comments and fine she can predict the future but why can she suddenly control people by touching them as well as seeing the future without touching anyone? Let's use drama logic and say she's older and more experienced so she has developed her powers more and has hidden them.
2. Why would she stay locked up and keep her kid locked up if she had the ability to free them all this time? How are there no security measures to make sure they don't escape and why would you lock them up at a hotel? How did she get out from behind the wall in the first place when she saw the guy for the first time?
3. What kind of relationship did his mom have with the older prophet lady and what does the necklace have to do with any of it?
4. Why would the girl wait 2 years before deciding to break out? I get that she saw him and he finally let her out but when she saw his future, shouldn't she have tried to escape right then and there?
5. When she does escape, doesn't she realize that she is only going to bring him more trouble? I get that she's supposed to be lucky but it doesn't take a genius to realize that her being with him is only going to make his life go up and down. Like we all know he's going to have a phase of realizing that his mom was killed because of her and so on. Also if she's so lucky, why doesn't it include her?
I know this is kind of rambling but the decision to use luck as a plot device and future telling is so sketchy that making it abstract and throwing in whatever to fit the story is such a cheap trick.
I hope episodes 2-3 do a better job. I would hate to see the dude claiming to not be his father turn on his friend and try to force her to make him rich or whatnot but I have a feeling that he will fall for her and use his feelings as an excuse( a shitty one) to try and take her back.
I don't understand what you're on. Do you expect every drama to starts with a nice male lead and ends the same…
There is a difference between being rude and uncaring. Seems like girls don't get it, and think a guy being rude is somehow acceptable. A show can use a rude male lead sure but maybe give a reason why? This dude just starts hating on her height before he even knows who she is or that she is on his team. I have watched hundreds if not thousands of shows so I can safely say that you only need a few episodes to decide whether a show is worthy of watching in most instances. This one will be the same no matter how long you watch it. While the two leads may become bearable to watch, the story itself will be stale. It will be about how they deal with the online comments and their parents for 99% of the story. The bigger issue is how early on they are hinting at the male lead developing feelings for her. For someone who makes fun of her and claims to have no attachments or scandals in the past, he sure does a 180 quick. Most people are only watching this for all the attractive actors so don't act like it's anything more. I should also mention that if anyone plays moba's here, this is some dumb portrayal. The animations are flashy sure, but not very realistic. You expect to tell me, that pro level teams can't make basic decisions and are losing fights in 3 vs 1's. The emphasis on the animation seems to be looking cool compared to anything else.
I don't understand the hype sorry. I really don't understand the market's obsession with creating rude and obnoxious male leads with even worse female leads. The first 3-4 episodes is just picking on her height? I understand it can be used as humor in a way but come on. Then there's so much over stepping of boundaries for someone who acts like they don't care. Making a toxic guy seems like he's not that bad is acceptable because of short-term memory and justifiable because he changes later on right.... The female lead acting is flat out boring to watch and all over the place. How is this even past 8.5 let alone 8. Are all Chinese dramas just insanely inflated? Only decent one being 'You are my glory' but havn't finished that either.
episodes 25-30 have already been leaked or aired not sure which. Just takes a while to sub them though since the subs all seem to come from the official sites and those take a while.
Found the acting to be cringe. The concept was good but lost interest real fast after they kept cutting from one scene to the next. Too Mashed up for my taste
Dropped, I understand that the series spent quite a bit but there is just too much wrong. There are plot holes left and right and some seriously bad writing/directing. The characters are doing well in acting but it's cringe.
1. Broker says shoot him if he does anything funny and they all just watch him send his location.... okay, the guy holding the guy gets knocked around as if he's a statue. Even if she's from the future, doesn't mean that logic no longer applies.
2. She is captured by the Immigration people and her hands are bound but after he crashes into her car like a maniac, she's suddenly unbound? huh???
3. Future FL is walking around casually in what seems like a deserted and destroyed city but acts like a poster and empty water bottles are important... trying way too hard to make her seem badass with that crappy looking toy gun.
4. Let's not forget, he claims to hack a electronic vehicle and then goes on to write an app to steal a car... I think anyone with a brain knows thats not possible given how quickly he did it. Even if you had all the tools ready.
5. The assassins that were sent to kill him were supposed to kill him right, and not just admire him and his invention and then miss a standing still target.
I had high expectations, but when your story itself is confusing then theres not much an actor can do to save the show. Reminds me of The King: Eternal Monarch, both shows spent a bunch on making it look good but lacked substance.
Awesome, episode 8 was nice. They have some serious series potential. I have a feeling that the detective will die and then Zio-0 will end up raising the kid. Possibly even sacrifice himself in the next season protecting his teenage daughter. Yeah, praying for a happy ending but skeptical.
Definitely not a fan of the most recent episodes 11-14. The dialogue is cringe and I have trouble relating to the mc. The writer change may be responsible but I seriously found myself struggling to finish episodes. I also don't get what is going on with the mayor, like where did they suddenly get the video of him committing murder. The assistant to the mayor knew he killed her friend and was still working for him? huh?
