For being a Kudokan drama, it’s definitely lacking. But I think it’s also unfair to expect a great love story because FL and ML never really had any substance to begin with. There are no redeeming qualities about them and the foundation of their marriage is superficial - she wanted to see another world and he wanted a cute girl. That’s totally fine because along the course of the marriage, they learned that they could rely on each other.
I also have mixed feeling about Ryo’s character. The subtle Todai label is there to mark that he’s somewhat more intelligent than FL who only graduated from high school and ML who is obviously dumb for not capable of reading a text properly. But what’s the deal with this guy?? I also find it sad how things turned out for him and FL but maybe it’s a blessing in disguise for both parties.
I have to admit that I quite like the campaigning episodes - it reveals some pressing issues such as the Matsuyama airport. The setting being Ehime is also an interesting one.
I'm hoping that the ex-boyfriend isn't going to cause problems down the line since he's connected to the government....
Right? Their relationship is very intriguing though. I thought it's a bit strange though that some kissing photos could cause her downfall/being dropped from the show...
Nagasawa does not disappoint! Everything about this dorama is so on point, music + production + casting + script! Can't wait to see how they resolve this case.
I don't think so because he seems much older than the gang. However, my theory is that Amemiya is actually Nakano. I mean none of them has met each other since then no? So I don't think they would know how he looks now.
But it's so ironic because he's assuming that the married woman is in love with her husband and hence won't be heartbroken. But which married woman has an affair if she loves her husband? I really hope the ending will be good since they decided to change a bit of it i.e. not in Korea but in Hakata... By the way did she ever reveal to him that she's not married before he forgot her?
Oh I looked it up and apparently people were discussing how he could have surgery but will lose memory or something like that. So the entire idea of him wanting to have an affair is because he doesn't want her to get hurt if he dies right?
