In case it helps, he has no feelings for any of his concubines, and isn't sleeping with them. Clearly he has had children with them (who are relatively grown already), but it was also hinted that he was barely at home, and none of the concubines are favoured. Even with his first wife, it seems when they first married they had a cordial relationship, but as time went on their relationship broke down to a certain extent, although he was still respectful of her, and caring platonically.
SPOILER: He is forced to take in a new concubine in the first few episodes, but he doesn't give her any attention and explicitly tells her that he can't ever give her anything more than material possessions.
