I'm confused as to why Song Lin is keeping Lu Na around. I get that now she's doing the TV show things are more complicated, and I'm glad that unlike other MLs, at least in private he *tries* to draw a clear line between them.
But I really don't understand why he's still putting up with her so much, even on a personal level.
What do you not like about it? I find it really well done and clever, especially the dialogue. The chemistry is…
For me, it's not about the romance or lack thereof. I just couldn't get into it. Granted, only 2 episodes are subbed, but it just didn't catch my interest. Not that there's anything wrong with the drama, or that it's bad, just that I don't quite like it.
Maybe I'll give it another go once more episodes are subbed? We'll see!
Oh, okay, that's promising! II don't like when they sleep with the other concubines, although it definitely makes it historically inaccurate if that's the case haha, not that I'm complaining.
Oh. My. God. This is one of my favourite webnovels! I am speechless. I had no idea this was going to be adapted…
Oh, nevermind, I watched the trailer and it seems that he's not blind here. Not sure how I feel about that? I feel like it might take a lot away from his character, which I loved so much in the novel.

I have high expectations, but I think I'm going to pretend that this and the novel are unrelated at least at first, so I don't become one of those 'THE BOOK WAS SO MUCH BETTER, THEY BUTCHERED IT' viewers. Because this has big shoes to fill.
Your words are a bit harsh but If your point was only just that what Red M!apple said. There wouldn't be a need…
Hi, I know you've already written a spoiler disclaimer, but would you mind editing your comment and tagging it as a spoiler so there's no chance of people accidentally reading it? Thanks!
This caught my attention immediately! Absolutely love the casting and the pace of the progression so far. No idea how the 45 episodes are going to pan out and what they'll fill them with, but I have high hopes!
8 mins into episode 1, and can we appreciate how her and her fiancé's 'girlfriend' didn't fight it out like most drama characters would? Instead they both were pissed at the guy, who is the only one at fault given neither of them knew about the other's existence.
Granted, it was a very short interaction, but still. I AM MUCHO IMPRESSED ALREADY.
I'm on ep 3 and I really don't like the way FL is treating the SML. I mean, he's definitely not being great (v. pushy, insecure, etc. and they aren't even together), but she also has never actually asked him for an explanation about the stolen goods (edit: wrote this early on in ep 3). She's being real cold-hearted.
Anyone else feel like if the doctor's book is published, it's going to affect their relationship, but more importantly her recollection of the memories she lost? Damn, this show just keeps getting better and better.

There are quite a few low-budget historical romances airing right now. I'll definitely give The Romance of Tiger and Rose a try!
