it doesn't even remotely romanticize North Korea💀quite the contrary, it shows the stark class difference, the corruption among their military ranks because of this class difference, how there is no meritocracy but rather nepotism and the lower classes struggles in a light manner (bc they don't want a war now, do they.) the only good thing coming from the north in here are the people who are very class unconscious. but are good people regardless.

yes the female lead found love in someone supposed to be an enemy to her nation but the differentiating in ideology of their birth country doesn't make them any less of good people. There are no propaganda happening in here nor any "painting NK in a romantic light". The one who helped actualize the scenario is an N.K defector and he's not a defector for nothing.

So it wasn't Mokdan? They never once used her name with her, they should try. I know she wouldn't give her name but she would at least have reacted otherwise to the name. Like laughing because she knows they're wrong about something this crucial. Always wondered why her voice was more mature than that of a child but never questioned it, thin king maybe the ghost too is aging, just slowly.

I would think because he's a folklore professor maybe he wanted a ghost to himself just to prove something but the female lead seem to believe it was for his eyes.

So her eyesight getting bad is actually a real medical issue in her family from her father's side. But apparently, getting possessed by that evil spirit was the way he got his eyesight back but he didn't think it'd include him in atrocious killings. He had met Hae Sang's mom who happened to know of a spirit. Idk how he obtained it afterall.

The juvenile ghost is the ghost of a young child, basically. Died by sacrifice at that time, which used to bw a custom to purge a family or village of anything bad.
