My opinion the drama is not bad, Who cares about characters change the story is going on both FL and ML are doing…
I actually like the new ML. His acting is more expressive. I wish they would of made sangsang more mature looking by now or replaced her with a more mature looking actress. She still looks like a kid which makes seeing her in a relationship a bit weird.

I don't speak mandarin, but some others commented that his voice doesn't fit too well for this type of drama. One of the trailers supposedly has his real voice for a few lines. For other dramas, they have many reasons why to dub, cheaper (less retakes, no need to edit out noise, no need to have quiet sets), diffrent dialects/accents of actors, weird voice, or just terrible acting voice.

Hello! Do I need to watch S1 before I watch this? TIA.
I am trying to watch thru it now. It is a bit long winded as I think they prob could of cut/edited out 50% of it. I'm only on ep8 , but i think the mom hates the girl at this point. I really like the interaction between the 2nd couple (the brother and director). I actually look forward to that slow buildup in each episode

After trying to watch many other Chinese romance/comedy type dramas(gogo squid, o2o love, etc) the past months, this is a masterpiece and much more entertaining.
