You assumed the supposed gender composition of the audience. You have no evidence that the ratings predominantly come from women, and you seem to treat that presumed demographic fact as device to dismiss the rating. That's misogynistic.

I didn't say this drama was automatically good because of its high rating. I said many of the weird things you mentioned didn't happen, and that you're crazy if you think a drama would be so easily successful if it had a ML who's poisoned the FL and then is "mad at her for trying to save her life and she feels bad".

In the actual story, he believes he's been betrayed by someone he loves. In your take, he appears to be punishing a woman for trying to survive. Those portrayals have very different moral implications. Of course, you don't need to finish a drama before criticizing its first couple of episodes. You can reasonably say that the premise or early developments put you off. But if you want to criticize later developments, you need to understand what actually happens in them.

So you're saying: it's rubbish because according to you, it shows women as weak (fighter got beaten and turned dancer) and stupid (the guy who poisoned her got mad at her for trying to live and she felt bad for him). And the reason It has high rating is because mostly women rated it high. And because it's women, the rating isn't valid.
TLDR: Women are stupid and can't see that they're being misrepresented as stupid (?!)

If the story didn't grip you by ep 7, then I guess it's not for you. But if it's about the romance and leads relationship, I'd say hold on until the end of ep 10.
