everything that unfolded was way too heavy for everyone. they all need time to heal and process. it's already…
You act like he said "what's done can't be undone. It's ultimately Li Lun's fault. So if you feel responsible, instead of waiting for death, let's fight the guy".
Nah. First he basically accused him of trying to invoke pity. Then he said "you shouldn't die yet. Li Lun was after you" (he wasn't), dumping the responsibility on him. Then he promised to kill him yet again.
Wanna ask ZYC, how can you say those to a person who is already dead inside???? Just to justify your own mind…
ZYC said all that to keep him in the gang while making him think they're doing him a favor. ZYC needs ZYZ for free power ups. WX needs his protection and the rest need his knowledge and power and as their occasional punching bag.
They don't deserve him. All the good he does, someone else is thanked for. And when he does something he has literally no control over, they look at him like a total stranger would. He could've kept the token to himself and never bothered with WX's weak body or their world being thrown into chaos.
He should've left them. I thought he did, with the rest of the episode acting like he didn't exist. ZYC's emotional blackmail's gonna keep him in the team, sadly. They'd barely stopped mistreating him. More abuse on his way I guess.
This one or blood of youth which one should I watch first or which one is better
This one's events happen first. But it's not on the same level as Blood of Youth at all, not to mention drastic changes to the original story and characters
Reading the comments it feels like some of the people watching this are either teenagers or have never had any family or responsibilities. Even if this season's writer struggles with character consistency, you can watch the sequel. If you don't want to do so and see the whole story, stop judging based on only half of it, specially the half which wasn't all written by the original writer.
XRF didn't want to be emperor, had no plan for it and most likely didn't spend his entire life training to become one. His real place was in the martial arts world and some might say he was too kindhearted to be a king. XRJ, however, had all of that. In fact, becoming king was his life goal. He wasn't brave but was good to XRF, had mutual understanding with him, wasn't crazy and was also smart enough not to be swayed easily. Their apparent other option, was a psycho who cared neither for people nor family, possibly worse than XY. Who do you think XRF was gonna support? In the end, XRJ was said to be a good emperor and the only one he truly wronged was his brother. Which caused him heartache for so long it caused his heart illness.
People here sounding like those who tried to force a rebellion onto Langya and his son.
The whole reason TSJ had to float out at sea was because the LYF drama team couldn't afford to make his own mount…
An adaptation doesn't need to be the eact same as the original. To expect such a thing is unrealistic. Books have a lot of freedom. If they were so lenient toward Xiangliu, why did they tone down FL's mourning for him, making the audience feel like she didn't care as much?
I loved S1. S2 is a complete letdown. There is virtually no character growth - all of these characters are ultimately…
I agree with this. Except I don't see how XL was after revenge. The Chenrong army had already chosen their path even before he joined, and would've gone to battle, with or without him. He simply didn't want to abandon them.
THIS!

When someone is grieving, lost and scared, he doesn't need to hear about your inability to pity or stop hating him.
But I agree that his words were a lot better than WX's "cant catch the one who's destined to fall".

If by smart you mean Xiao Se or Langya, MC is average imo.
