I get the ppl saying the plot is pretty weak. True. It's a pretty silly and simple drama so I won't be taking it too seriously either. It's pretty cute so far tho. Dunk's acting seems to have improved the tiiiiniest bit, but Joong's character here feels the same as his role in Star and Sky lmao like don't get me wrong, I love his soft voice and calm persona but given that he's the one with more acting potential, I would have thought they'd take advantage of it more and give him a more challenging role idk we'll wait and see i guess
I just finished ep 3 and i need to vent! Why does it feel like they're completely glossing over the fact that Vee cheated on his gf? Yes, Ploy cheated too, but Vee also did. He slept with Mark (a very dubcon scene may i add!) and he's been following him around acting like his bf for quite a while now. Emotionally cheating is also a thing. My point is, both Vee and Ploy have been shıtty partners to each other but it feels like they're only trying to make me feel sorry for Vee?? And yes, it's sad but idk idk call me heartless ig idk it's only ep3. Anyways, I'll go back to watching!
Even though i hate that they brought out that cursed guitar, at least the song is catchy. I still have a word or two to say to the writers like come on, is a surprise really worth it if your partner feels forgotten and unloved in the process?💀💀 First and Khao still ate tho (but i had no doubts there). The producers are lucky these two are so fcking great together. All in all, I'll pretend this was a fanfic that i only mildly enjoyed and I'll take the characters portrayals from the eclipse as the real canon.
(Honorable mention to AJ. I absolutely loved him all throughout the series and during these 2 eps🫶🏻)
Waiting for my AkkAyan fix bc i know for a fact they could be standing there just looking at each other and i would eat it up!! First and Khao *will* deliver and that is a fact! So I'm not worried about them.
Currently debating if i should watch Joong and Dunk's eps tho since i haven't watched their series and apparently everyone here is criticizing Dunk (from the few scenes I've seen, it seems to be deserved but idk)
Pond and Phuwin are just as stiff and awkward looking around each other here as they were in the series [and i admit i *was* a bit disappointed but c'est la vie ig (is it just me or do they have more chemistry off screen than in the series lmaoo )]
This felt like a 10h long music video 😭😭 especially the last ep with all the random scenes just thrown together. With that being said, I think NetJames did their best with what they were given :)) looking forward to their historical drama!!!
I really liked their acting in this ep. They're good at looking in love ig
Also, King's mom gives me mixed feelings. She's not bad bad but man, I was hoping she could be a mother figure for our Uea so he can finally get some motherly love but guess not🥲 ngl it's very realistic considering all the couples irl struggling with parent approval
I'm lowkey scared to see what they do with Middleman since Tutor is still not here and apparently that changes the story a lot smhh i was so excited for TutorYim, hopefully it's still going to be enjoyable...
Bro, I thought they added the additional 2eps in order to properly handle the already existing drama so that everything is fixed by the end and they get at least the last ep for them to be shown as living happily together. But instead they seriously added /more/ drama? .... is this also in the book? Is it handled better there because idk what it is about the series, i cant put my finger on it, the story just feels off somehow idk
They're really out here doing so much and yet giving us nothing 😀 Interesting nc scene ok cool cool Where's the rest of the story? 🧍🏼♀️ Why is King doing a 180 so suddenly? He was literally obsessed with Uea last ep? I can't put my finger on why this show feels so slow? (Besides the obvious which is that they are not dealing with the real problems) It's like I'm reading filler chapters, you feel me? I'll keep watching but ngl it doesn't look very promising
I'm only halfway through the series but i felt like coming here to leave a comment anyway. I get where some people's criticism comes from, honestly, everything I've read in the comments was valid reasons. Personally, I'm not bothered by the sudden shift between a highschool series to a more action oriented one. I think it makes sense for the plot, I mean they /are/ running away to save their (Nueng's) life. Why would they keep up the highschool plot line? Lol (im only on ep7 so maybe i shouldn't talk so soon, huh? 😂) But imo, the one thing that actually bothers me is maybe the actors? They're not bad, but i definitely think they should have casted actors with a bit more experience. The plot is a lot more complex than a highschool drama and the characters are going through some pretty messed up situations. I just think actors with a bit more experience would have portrayed the characters' emotions a bit better. I definitely feel that at times, their acting looks a bit stiff (kissing scenes included). They're not bad actors tho and i wouldn't say no to watching other shows with them in the future. I'm curious if my opinion will change once I'm done with the show tho haha
Thua saying he respects Akk and Aye's love and in the same breath outing them to the whole school knowing that this would hurt them and especially Akk is messed up. I'm furious that they brushed Thua's actions off so easily. Not just him outing his friends but also him being behind this whole curse situation. He doesn’t even regret it. Like yeah i understand his point, that the truth needed to come out. But he could have definitely find a better way around it. I dont think his actions were a 'necessary evil', i actually find them unnecessary mean. And again, no apology, no regrets from him...idk i couldnt enjoy his story with Khan after that. It was just too messed up....am i being too sensitive? Idk idk
I dont get it, dude
Side not, but War is soo pretty. His smile🥺
