With the risk of sounding overly emotional or as if I was exaggerating, I just came here to say that I was literally crying and shaking during the InkPa scene in ep9 when I realized they really /were/ about to make them a couple. I was hoping for it because there were some hints there, but I didn't have much hope tbh because GL is kind of rare in BLs and this one came out so naturally, what's even better is that Ink and Pa didn't even get together for the benefit of the main leads :") that's why representation is so important y'all ANYWAY, loved the show, I'm actually glad the family drama wasn't magically resolved in the end. I think it's more meaningful this way
By far the best BL I've watched so far. The plot, the directing/producing, the ACTING?? 10/10 would recommend it even to people who don't normally watch Thai dramas or BLs in general. A masterpiece.
Omg the actress who plays Thyme's mom did really well! But how are they ever gonna redeem her character?? At this point, if Thyme finds out what she did and forgives her, it's not gonna be realistic or satisfactory at all! She's waay too evil. Way more extreme than she was in the chinese version at least. I'm curious how her character is in the other versions because here she is...a lot idk
Also, who gives so much power in a company to a 18 year old? Lmaoo ALSO Are we ever gonna see him confront his own mother? :) and i mean a real confrontation where he shows her that he isnt ok anymore with the way she handles stuff idk i want to see him stand up to her more. He's lived his whole life with a master of manipulation and yet it seems he only learned how to be cruel and not cunning. I think he's too complacent?idk idk super curious how they're gonna wrap up everything in 2 eps lmao
I see a lot of people here criticising Gorya for trusting Talay over Thyme but it's like you guys forgot that only a couple of eps ago, Thyme was still the ringleader of a tyrannical system at school that imo bordered on assault and harassment rather than just bullying. Yes, he started to change but for me as the audience, it.is.not.enough. What F4 used to do is absolutely disgusting and while I can try to understand Thyme's character since he is clearly traumatised by his mom, that doesn't mean I'm going to excuse his behaviour. As someone else pointed out in the comments, the 3rd red card was necessary. Thyme needs to really /see/ the evil he caused and how it still affects everyone not just Gorya. He needs to grow up. Also, about Gorya, i agree that she was naive to blindly trust Talay like that, she's back to square 1 with Thyme. The push and pull with Thyme was interesting but at this point, Thyme and Lita have had more couple-y scenes than the main couple and idk how to feel about that or about them as a couple. Gorya needs to grow as a character too and with only 6 eps left they will have to be really careful otherwise the plot will seem rushed. Anyway, this is my unbiased opinion as someone who is following this plot for the first time since I have only seen about half of the chinese version (forgot almost everything lmao) and I've never watched the other versions or read the manga. Curious to see the ending, but I love everyone's opinions, especially those who have watched the other versions. From what i gathered, this one is more violent than the others...?
This was... messy. I liked the acting and the bromance, it was overall a nice drama But It was difficult to follow the chronological order of events. They kept going back and forth from a country to another, from past to future and they couldn't even let the viewers know by simply putting a freaking text on the screen (like they did in the last ep when they told which year they're in). Really?? Okay. So many things didn't make sense but hey, maybe I'm just stupid and imagined all those plot holes.
Overall, it's not awful but I was left a little disappointed tbh. I just know it could have been so much better
P.S. That scene at the end when they reunite was so underwhelming smh P. P. S. I felt slightly more invested with the side characters than the main leads tbh and that's just sad
I've watched a lot of cliche movies before that I enjoyed. I was a little disappointed with this one. It's not bad, it was actually pretty cute, a good choice if you're bored and got nothing to do.
If you're looking for something similar to goblin (ofc nothing will ever top goblin in my heart tho) then I guess this is it - good acting, great soundtrack placed at the right scenes, humour but lots of tears, talks about god and destiny and life and death. Yup. Gave it a 10. Honestly, it's slightly underrated. It should be at least a 8.8
