This tries hard to emulate Gwyneth Paltrow's movie, "Sliding Doors". Which was a real gem btw. The execution here is pretty sloppy and I find it confusing to follow at times..

Am not sure how to feel 'bout Jia Cheng's sis with Xu Yan as she acts like a besotted teen around her idol crush, while he is serious much like a boomer. It's a common trope but eh.😃 Other than that, she appears quite down to earth despite being wealthy.

Overall it was a satisfying ending imo. The villains got their just desserts while the good guys continue the good fight.

It was sad the way it ended for Xiao Hui, Tao .. but I saw it coming tbh. They just have very different values, goals etc. Xiao Hui in particular a social climber , career driven , ambitious.
