really don't know what to think about this drama. I can neither classify it as good or bad. after watching the first episode, I was hooked and I was expecting an epic drama, but it fizzled out and became lukewarm.
I absolutely agree with you and this is exactly how I feel except the fact that you will watch a drama with him…
everyone has different ways in which they view the world and that totally fine. for me, I don't really view people as having only good in them, and that's y I am not too surprised or disappointed that this side of him(whether true or not) is being exposed to the world. and because of that I can disengage my personal feelings and watch a movie of his. honestly if I were to totally submerge myself into all these happenings and news going around I doubt I'll be able to watch or listen to 90 percent of films or music in the world cos let's be honest many of all these people are terrible humans and they use the privilege they have in the worst possible way. I watch movies and listen to music to unwind and clear my thoughts so it defeats the purpose of it if i start dwelling on unverified and probably incorrect news.
if and when this drama drops I'm definitely watching it, let's be honest he has always been a brilliant actor, I'm not going to boycott it just because the world discovered that he may or may not have done something horrible. for you to be affected by all these news going around that much is because you get too invested into the person's life too much. for me I just enjoy the movie or the music and that is all, I don't get invested to the extent that I start STANing them. all these idols, actors and actresses are human and that means there aren't Saints, they all have skeletons in their closets, some greater than others. just enjoy the entertainment and art they put out into the world and disengage from their personal life. stop glorifying them. these people are being paid to act a role, but some people take that role as the person's real life character, and when they discover that their idols are HUMAN and therefore do human things they get so outraged to the extent that they want to destroy them. to me, those who over exalt these singers and actors are the real problem, cos you all enable them and overinflate their ego's to the extent they think they are gods.
I'm a fan of most of the judges since I follow their work, but this show (the neverending dance mission in episode 2 to be precise) is making me see them in a bad light especially lee seung gi in episode 2, when he said while smiling"it's only a few times" I was really pissed. I get that being a trainee to become a K-pop Idol is a tough strenuous journey but this is just cruel. watching it I felt like a sadist who is deriving pleasure from their suffering. I feel like they shouldn't have done this or better yet aired it in the first place. well this this just my opinion.
I feel likeI feel like Kim seong min shouldn't have qualified at all. He can't sing, rap or dance. As for the visual they are other handsome contestant that are skilled as well. I feel they should have given a chance to someone more skilled. This is just my opinion.
