I already completed this show .....even though i somewhere guessed how it's gonna end, but the leads amazed me with there acting skills ....peng xiaoran, she is so natural...i really love her who would say that she doesn't have much experience, she got this chance and i m damn sure she is gonna rockkk in upcoming shows as a lead .... i found peng xiaoran acting has similar aroma like tiffany tang's in my personal opinion. Chen Xing Xu: for him just one word amazing ....his chemistry with PX is just awesome ..<3 loved it ... i really wish if they both can become a part of ashes of love season 2 ...since they will cast new actors and actress ...they would make a good pair ...<3
The drama was really good ....i really enjoyed it but hate that, I have to see edited version..???? Although the ending was sad from the perspective of love, but it was quite reasonable....no matter how much u love someone but if he is responsible for eliminating ur family, clan and beloved ones, there is no way u can forgive them.... Even though xf forgave lcy but it was difficult for her to live with him under the same roof. After watching first 10 eps, somewhere I guessed that it will end up like either she leaving him or killing him or killing herself.... Both the main leads lcy and gj sincerely loved xf.... I cant really decide who she should be with ...it’s difficult as both r responsible for what happened ... Initially xf was in love with gj and wanted to marry him ....but since gj owns his life to his godfather, also the revenge for what happened to gu family .....but he had an option there, either to take revenge for which he was raised or be with xf. The reason gj helped lcy to get close to xf so that he can know the geographical location of danchi clan as they were not traceable .....but lcy actually feel in love with xf and he really do wanted to protect her. Further, due to rejection from gj (as planed) xf also started to love and trust lcy..... lcy wanted to revenge from danchi clan due to what happened to 1st crown prince, it’s sad that he stayed with them and never tried to find out whether they were actually involved or not (not knowing about his 2nd brother’s conspiracy) ... And in the end when due to internal politics or personal agenda, the 2nd prince preponed the plan of eliminating danchi clan in order to get close to the tittle of crown prince.... where else, lcy understood the situation and in order to earn the trust and favour from emperor he betrayed Xf and danchi clan....bcoz of all this, it effected xi state and ultimately resulting in death of her mother ....and also Effected the mental stability of her father ... I know they were at war but killing someone in the battlefield is different from ambushing them ....so lcy did backstabbed them .... Even after what happened she really loved him bcoz of which no matter how many times she tried to kill him but couldn’t.... and gj he spent his whole life in repenting .... I really liked peng xiaoran her acting aroma is quite similar to Tiffany tang’s (my personal opinion, not to offend anyone) ....that’s why after Tiffany tang, peng xiaoran is my 2nd favourite one ...????
I completed this drama last week ...and seriously to me it's one of the best thriller and suspense drama I have seen ....the only thing I felt bad for was PHY brother ....it really made me cry, his brother wanted to expose the real culprit so he can bring his family together ....but he was killed and even though PHY tried to save his brother and LJH also did everything he could but still couldn't save him ... I know it's funny but sometimes I was wondering that if PHY loves CSH and that they can be a couple ....that time I wasn't sure whether LJH fate will change or not ... But I really respect the way CSH loved LJH, that even after 15 years she never stopped looking for him and did everything she could and also never married..... I just wish this show can have a season 2 as soon as possible...

Well I did it bcoz I didn’t wanted to indulge into any unnecessary argument bcoz of some fictional character like it happened in the last drama .... firstly i m not biased as i said i fell in love with run yu bcoz of the story and character portrayal...it has nothing to do with someone's physical appearance .... i started the show bcoz of dung lun who played xe feng but after completing the show i was totally with run yu ... so its not biased, as my opinion is after completing show not before that ... where else u already completed the novel and on the basis of that formed an opinion about the story taken in drama.... i know what it means ancient ...may be yes i m not familiar with the past of Chinese culture due to cultural difference ..... but i will still say that not doing anything was also encouraging his mother ....and someone who saved ur life not once but multiple times then isn't he in-debt to him ....isn't his mother should be thankful to run yu for saving his son ... i read the whole comment but i only found one thing common was as per ancient Chinese culture xe feng has all the rights due to his birth and backup by both his maternal and paternal background ... being an legitimate son of the heavenly emperor and empress so every action done by him is his right and correct however since run yu maternal side wasn't strong or should i say not good enough and paternal side was just not strong enough to support or help him .......so he has no right to fight for himself or his brother shouldn't fight for him either bcoz of difference in background .... so due to difference in status and tittle and back ground xe feng can get anything he wants or desires .... but run yu should have never hoped for anything bcoz if he does he is selfish .... so u want to justify the whole story bcoz of the cultural part but if that's the case then at-least the writers should have mention the details of Chinese traditions for international viewers as we r not familiar with the background or old traditions or rules, used to make such a shows ....i have seen many Chinese dramas specially the historical one ....like the king's woman, ten miles of peach blossom, princess wei young, princess agents and so on ...but i never felt any injustice towards any character except this and princess agents .... so just becoz of tittle and background difference, no matter what u might explain to me i wont be able to accept that .... i know my pov is rigid bcoz usually i dont write in favour of anyone ..this is the 2nd time i did bcoz of run yu's character ..bcoz it just doesn't feel right .. just like u can't accept that xe feng was also wrong in many ways which is also the cause of pushing run yu to the edge ... as for jim mi i dont see her growing up instead i saw her becoming more and more annoying and stupid... As for karma its not only restricted to just one life, it needs to be balanced so it gets c/f in ur next life if the debt is not complete ....for example when something bad happens with us even though we haven't done anything we just say may be we did something bad in our previous life. .... i know its xu feng ..but i actually spelled it incorrectly ..but since those who r reading my comment knows whom i was referring ....so never corrected it .. please don't write such long comments it feels like it will take me forever to read it and then rply it ... :)
i love him so very much, just completed AOL and luo yunxi was amazing as run yu ....AOL was just about a selfish love story...i don't even consider it as a love story ...where xe feng never considered his brother's feeling ...instead of giving up on one thing which makes run yu happy, he even took it away from him just like his mom Tu yao ... when he knew she is engaged and she also accepted run yu as her would be husband then no point in going behind ur sister in law .... jin mi is also very annoying, just bcoz of run yu i wanted her to end up with him otherwise i never liked her ...selfish person, she was behaving like she was the only one who fell in love or knows about love.... and there intimate scene was just so low of them ...how could she forget that run yu is her fiance and xe feng is her brother in law and same goes for xe feng ...so cheap of them.. and jin mi after killing xe feng had no other job but just to faint and get severely injured in every next episode and run yu literally had no other job instead of giving her his powers ...he even gave her half of his life span ...cutting down his 7 veins ..omg who does that .. jin mi= leach sucked almost every bit of run yu 's power ... how many times i wished that if i were in place of kuang lu ..i would have slapped jin mi 2/3 times and will tell her to get a hold of herself ...what the hell is she doing.....and would have told everyone the whole truth about her mom, run yu's past and su li and tai wei and tu yao...everything else .... if she had married run yu or xe feng had given up on her nobody has to die or get hurt even that big war could have been avoided .... AOL leads can hold my bear as run yu was the star of AOL ....i found him hot whenever he used his powers and his voice is so sweet .... in the end i only felt pain for my run yu ...i just love him.....<3 hope to see him in more dramas where he is the lead and also gets the girl.....

jin mi is also very annoying, just bcoz of run yu i wanted her to end up with him otherwise i never liked her ...selfish person, she was behaving like she was the only one who fell in love or knows about love....
and there intimate scene was just so low of them ...how could she forget that run yu is her fiance and xe feng is her brother in law and same goes for xe feng ...so cheap of them..
and jin mi after killing xe feng had no other job but just to faint and get severely injured in every next episode and run yu literally had no other job instead of giving her his powers ...he even gave her half of his life span ...cutting down his 7 veins ..omg who does that .. jin mi= leach sucked almost every bit of run yu 's power ... how many times i wished that if i were in place of kuang lu ..i would have slapped jin mi 2/3 times and will tell her to get a hold of herself ...what the hell is she doing.....and would have told everyone the whole truth about her mom, run yu's past and su li and tai wei and tu yao...everything else ....
if she had married run yu or xe feng had given up on her nobody has to die or get hurt even that big war could have been avoided ....
AOL leads can hold my bear as run yu was the star of AOL ....i found him hot whenever he used his powers and his voice is so sweet ....
in the end i only felt pain for my run yu ...i just love him.....<3
hope to see him in more dramas where he is the lead and also gets the girl.....
i agree we wont be able to come on the same point ....becoz we both r expressing our opinion from a different perspective ....urs is purely love based and mine is overall ...so its actually difficult for us to come to the same conclusion ...
