i want to watch this one but the subs aren't working properly

Obviously we can not blame her forever since the drama is already completed, but i m telling that the part about YXW redemption was missing and that part was left completely unattended like she never made a mistake which makes you feel disconnected with her character.
I guess she gave the porridge to TTJ bcoz he can communicate with animals and birds to keep a tab on her without any need of a guard and TTJ saved YBC bcoz she is YXW's family, had YBC died then YXW will blame it on him.
Yes i agree that TTJ love was devoted and obsessive but due to that only there got together as CMJ and LSS bcoz it was him who never gave up on her and did everything he could do.
That i know he is that typical yandere ML but didn't they said one thing in the end that "Human's cannot choose how to born but what they want to be its all about choice". And i guess this line should have been said by YXW to TTJ not in the later part.

I agree there is a lot of senseless stuff but it fine as long a they don't have much impact on the story similarly if there was a solid reason for YXW's suspicion and nailing him then it would have been more relatable.

That's true, but it was not bcoz of the actors but due to specific character they played.. when i started AOL i knew about Deng lun since i saw him in princess agents and when RY character was introduced i thought he is a Servant, hahahah ... but then all the twist and turns happened and RY character was so well written and detailed plus portrayed amazingly by Luo since then i became his fan.

I actually created my account on MDL just to give my review on AOL bcoz i was so pissed about how double standard hypocrite both the Main leads were and then they even got away with it.
But one thing for sure you can easily differentiate between RY and TTJ bcoz Xixi did a fabulous job and i love Xixi voice its so soothing ..

This is a scenario like first she suspected him of being a murder and when she learned the entire truth, she still didn't trust him with bingcheng stuff.
That's why i am saying that instead of her just speculating things had there been some solid reason behind her actions, that would have actually helped to improve her character. Even when TTJ became CMJ it was him who kept on pursuing her not the other way around even after knowing her mistakes.

For xixi u should, its a roller coaster ride bcoz of him, u will feel bad for him, wanting to hug him, protect him, proud of him and satisfied that east or west he is the best ..hehehe

No u r not, actually the ML and FL character is so double standard that i also FF a lot in their scenes ... Many do like Mortal arc but for me it was a manipulation ..
But i must say RY character was amazingly done by XiXi<3 i wanted to give him a hug

I would say it's a must watch due to LYX, some people say that LYX got recognised for his acting only after AOL due to his character portrayal as RY which made people sympathize with him more than the Main Leads

I have seen all of her dramas :), I like her with Xu kai too, and watched most of his dramas too..
I want to start The longest promise but its still going on so will wait it ends

When i watched Ashes of love in 2019, i became a fan of LYX bcoz he literally made Runyu Lead the entire drama.. I knew it he is going to rock the C-drama specially Costume ones ...<3

I completely agree, if the makers had made her character a bit more impactful then this drama would be like the best Wuxia of this year

I think the ending part was very diff bcoz now not only she loves him deeply but also have full trust on him.. So her character is like okaish but not that impactful compared to TTJ.
Don't know how to put in words but for her i can say something still feels missing

I agree with that part about how she always jumped into conclusion.
I know that she thought he won't do anything if she helped XL but TTJ believed that it was her who actually put poison in the porridge to kill him so she can be with XL. She lied to him multiple times and tricked him but his feeling took the best of him and he ignored all of it.

I think the dynamics mainly changed bcoz LSS thought she has devil bones so CJM won't turn into a devil god and CJM let his obsession go and became stern that no matter what he won't be a Devil God.

There was one line that "no one can choose their birth but they can choose what they want to be". I guess that was the main essence like he did not choose to be born with evil bones but what he wants to be in future is all about a choice.

I could not feel her love for him nor her suffering for not trusting him as TTJ or making wrong decisions as YXW.

In Love and redemption, Sifeng suffered a lot for Xuanji and later on when she found out that he is a demon she felt betrayed and hurted him due to misunderstandings. But later on when she learnt about that she did her best to redeem for it ..
Here, i don't see that redemption in YXW to make up for her mistakes.
