Don't worry i also visit once in while to know what dramas are trending... Really is it not that good ?bcoz people has rated it more compared to The Untamed in IMDB... Honestly i m really waiting for Leo's upcoming BL drama "Immortality" for which i do check the page twice or thrice in a week but so far we don't have any update on its air date. Many are guessing that they might be releasing it in july or august otherwise next year bcoz its a high budgeted drama and they don't want any competition (speculations).
I do agree, RY tail was def not looking like a dragon's tail it was a bit funny though. It's the opposite for me i like watching things compared to reading bcoz they don't usually use pictures to explains things.
You should try "The Long Ballad" bcoz it's not a typical love story infact the Lead's never said I Luv U to each other but still the level of understanding between the characters was rocking. And this time Dilraba did a good job and we also have Zhao Lusi and both the ML's are Eye Candy. They have used animation in different scenes which may be annoying but the OST is amazing specially "Cocoon" by Zhou Shen (the English translation of this song really moved me). I guess few dramas which are : 2.Nirvana in the fire- yet to watch 3.Joy of life- do- 4.Romance of Tiger and Rose -do- 5.Yanxi Palace (Last few episodes were disappointing considering the level of FL's intelligence) 6.Under the Power (its quite good) 7. Love in Between 8. Imperial coroner ( i have watched it till 22 its a good drama without any stupid ML or FL but its a bit boring for me bcoz they don't have funny scenes or romance ) And if u watch korean dramas then i can recommend few good : 1. Kill me Heal me 2. Healer 3. Signal -2016 4 Secret Forest aka Stranger 5. Mother 2018 (its an intense and emotional drama) 6. Fiery Priest 7. while u were sleeping 8. i hear your voice 9. IKR... Actually this drama is adopted from a novel named "Heavy sweetness Ash like Frost" which is written from the perspective of JM ... Many readers like that novel specially XF and JM characters even though XF raped JM while JM was under the impression that she will be getting some cultivation and not only that before raping her XF choked her under the water. Also, XF told JM not to tell anyone about floral chief being raped and killed by his parents.... And the mortal arc was like an epilogue even during that time her pill was intact i guess. RY and JM used to spend a lot of time together and RY was actually manipulative. XF and RY were not closed compared to what they have shown in the drama... I haven't read it but after having so much discussion on AOL i learned few things about the novel...
The problem is that though the writer's changed few parts in trying to justify XF character as real protagonist or lead's story but their actions doesn't seem that way due to their base character. Moreover, i read that the writer's were accused of siding with RY's character by giving him more screen time and XF's lines too.... in short either they should have reduced the screen time of RY or not involve his arc much or either they should have focused more on Love story part ... Also, the popularity of actors plays an imp factor in popularity of the show and characters
But still i m glad that we get too see Leo as RY now i m waiting for Immortality ..

One of the most hilarious thing is when someone comments that RY is evil as he knew that XF love JM but doesn't that goes same for XF ?? like XF was aware of RY's feeling for JM, while JM was unable to feel anything for anyone then how come RY should not at-least try to win JM? Moreover most of the character as biased towards XF like JM herself, Moon Immortal, emperor, empress and the demon princess .. And as a mentioned RY is just good as a stranger XF will never do anything beyond his limits for him.
IDK why RY is blamed for XF's death?? RY did changed her dream color( we take that as implied since they didn't showed how exactly he did) to separate JM and XF So, if JM wanted to take revenge on XF then why she didn't do it the moment she learned about it... She basically waited for 3 yrs to kill XF and JM was the one who learned about the internal alchemy from Moon immortal but in the end she blamed it all on RY. XF and empress are the only 2 people who can use phoenix fire and with empress being in jail the only option left is XF, even though if RY believes that it cannot be XF but he doesn't have any evidence and without it the possible culprit is XF. More importantly, RY is not a fortune teller who can tell what will be the exact process which will take place on the wedding day.
