omg Addicted Heroine was also the 1st BL I've ever watched! It's thanks to that If I love BLs so much! Up until today it is still one of my all time fave BLs and whenever I think about it my heart still breaks a little thinking about what happened back then (the actors forbidden to be seen together, the series banned, etc.). I remember I was so heartbroken and desperate knowing the series would have never been continued that I went frantically looking for the novel and devoured it in a couple of days. Man If I loved the novel! If only they had kept producing the series following the novel it would have been the best BL ever!
No dragging the plot for countless episodes before something happens, they acknowledge the fact gay people exist (kinda rare in Korean BLs), no dead fish kisses, they look pretty real (which is another super rare thing for Korean BLs), the acting is superb and these 2 have great chemistry. This BL goes definitely into my top 5 best Korean BLs ever, so far so good I'm giving this a solid 9/10.
Probably an unpopular opinion but for me this series was kinda meh. Putting aside the "sci-fi/apocaliptic scenario" component of this series ('cause If we start analysing it from a scientific point of view this didn't make any sense let's be honest, bunkers? what for? no bunker or anything else would protect us from the Moon crashing into Earth) and considering only the BL aspects, overall the acting was okay (minus the scenes where some action was required, those were kinda bad tbh), the chemistry between the 2 MLs was probably the only very good point as far as I'm concerned. Art and Best did a good job (although quite unrealistic how long they've waited before having some "intimacy", it's university boys we're talking about after all...), but that's pretty much it. 6.5/10

I doubt it 'cause I also think HIStory 3 and 4 were kinda bad not even comparable to the previous ones. I was curious as to this new one would have been able to get back to the high quality this franchise used to have but reading your comment (and many others) gave me already an idea of what to expect. Still I'll give this a go I guess...

I agree, and as for Korean gay movies, Long Time No See has amazing kisses (and sex scenes). They were so good honestly It's hard to believe it's Korean and it's from 2017! I wish all kisses and sex scenes in all BLs were like that!
oh no here we go with the fish kisses, it's (almost) always like that with Korean BLs, great plot, great editing, the chemistry is there (maybe not so much in this case) but the kisses omg, two pair of lips resting on one another... so lame! They should have kept hugging each other... lol
