After 16 episodes all I can say is "Can we get more scenes with Hai Yi half naked please?" 'cause at this point it's all I'm looking forward to see, it's sad I know but this series is so uninteresting and the plot so all over the place it just cannot be saved. So yeah, more Hai Yi showing his skin please, my eyes would appreciate that at least.
Just watched the movie version now after having watched the series when it was first released and damn, all the feelings and more came back to me like a waterfall! It's crazy how perfect everything about this movie feels, the plot, the editing, their out of this world chemistry, it's like a puzzle where all the pieces perfectly fit with each other and give life to a beautiful work of art. If only all Korean BLs were this good! 10/10.
P.s. I wish they really considered making a season 2 when Park Seo Ham gets back from his military service, it would be so freaking cool to see more of these 2 together on screen. ♥
To be honest I didn't feel this one, there were no sparks for both couples (if the main coouple is really dating irl I definitely expected something more), the acting also was mediocre. Still ok to watch If you have nothing else better I guess. 7/10
It was okayish, nothing more to be honest. Now, can we get a 10-episode spin-off where Masayan is the main lead so we get to see his life as the owner of that restaurant, juggling between his clients love troubles and his personal pursuit of love? And we need a handsome and charming actor to play as his forever boyfriend. Please? ♥
Binge watched all 14 episodes in a couple of days, to be honest it's not that bad if you start with the "let's have zero expectations" mindset. It might not be good but I swear I've seen worse, at least this didn't make me drop it (not yet at least). Also, I can't take my eyes off the actor playing Hai Yi, so freaking hot ♥
And here we go again with yet another series plagued with the infamous dead fish kisses which has become (almost) a constant in korean bls unfortunately.... but apart from that (which was to be expected), the major issue with this series is the 2 leads have zero chemistry, that ending was so unemotional and lackluster, so freaking flat, after all the suffering both had claimed to have gone through... A mediocre series. 7/10.
I really can't stand Ritsu which means Nakata is doing an excellent job at portraying that character haha. This series is great, I'd binge watch it if all the episodes had eng subtitles.
Raw and painfully sad. The acting was sublime. Not knowing anything about this movie I was expecting something lighter to be honest, but it's really not, for those who are looking for a fluffy and cute story japanese BL style, look elsewhere :)
I just watched the first 2 episodes and damn, Ritsu represents everything I despise the most in a guy. The typical boy who is generally good-looking, self-centered, selfish and overconfident, who thinks the world owes them a living. And yet even though you know deep inside they're "dangerous", since they are also incredibly charming it really takes no time to fall for them and before you realize it, you're already emotionally attached to them... so when they break your heart ('cause that is bound to happen, no exceptions) you're in for a ride to get over them... Hard and painful af. I could SO relate to Masumi I wanted to give him a big hug!
Anyway, all this being said, I'm really impressed by the quality of this series, the acting so far is great, the 2 leads have an amazing chemistry and it's pretty straightforward (sex scenes, acknowledgement of gay/bi people) which is something not that common in JBLs. I'm eager to watch the next episodes, but so far so good!
