You can tell they had a very limited budget to produce this series but their amazing acting make up for it. Just watched ep. 6 and I can't wait for the final 2 episodes.
10 minutes per episode and it's 8 episodes meaning it's a movie in reality not a series... this time I'll wait 'till the whole thing is out and (binge) watch it as a movie, no more dying waiting one week for the next 10 minute-episode... -_-
In the end it's Eiji the one who found himselft in the worst spot out of the three, trapped in a straight relationship playing the straight guy and for what? Making his homophobic father happy sacrificing his own happiness for him? The guy has zero personality, he honestly deserves that, he didn't move a finger to let Makki stay when their awful plan blew up right in their faces and he was the older one, the one who was supposed to be a grown up... I'm just glad Makki decided to meet Mieko and Eiji to put an end to their story and didn't end up with Eiji but finally found someone who really cares for him. Anyway, great series with amazing actors and cinematography. Totally recommended. 9.5/10.
They got three thinking brains and still managed to come up with a seemingly stupid idea to somehow solve their…
Haha, so true! I felt like at some point an elegant host was gonna pop out of nowhere and start announcing: "And the award for the worst possible plan ever to please a homophobic father goes to... "
I wanna know the same thing. Maiko said to Makki, "I'm 13 weeks, so the baby is probably yours." Doesn't this…
I haven't read the manga and please somebody who did read it correct me If I'm wrong but my thoughts are that they had tried not just once but several times to have a baby (not just that time they show us when they are staying at that hotel which makes sense as it's not that easy to get pregnant). So I assume maybe not the three of them had sex togethere but Mieko did have sex with just Makki and just Eiji separately (one was just watching) and by doing so they screwed up big time 'cause they kinda made clear who was going to be the father (by calculating the weeks of pregnancy which is what happens later on). Not the most brilliant idea... In any case, the whole plan was going to fail from the start, I honestly don't understand how they could remotely believe it was going to go well...
Can somebody explain the 8 weeks /12 weeks pregnancy lie in ep. 7? Didn't the three of them have sex together so that it was not possible to establish who the father was? How did she know the father was Eiji? Did I miss something?
what started like a cute and heartwarming series it quickly turned into pure angst with ep. 5 and especially with ep. 6, like omg, the events took a totally unexpected direction, like wtf... there's still 4 eps. left but as of now, I have mixed feelings about this. We'll see what happens next.
This said, I find the acting of all actors so damn good it feels almost like you're physically with them living their experiences and feeling what they feel. It's really amazing.
So no final scene between Ye Guang and his horrible parents? I was expecting them to sort of apologize for having being the worst parents of 2022 or at least trying to be more understanding to their son, I mean that video crying for love would have melted any parent's heart but nope... they were immune. Well, like they say, every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child... so true!
