Why didn't she go back to look for him after leaving him a note saying "wait i'll come back".... And yet again she leaves him.....ugh

I think the ending could have been different . Even if it was a dream or not at least this time she told him that he didn’t have to wait. I don’t think he would left anyway....btw this is first time seeing Song Joong Ki acting. He did pretty good for not saying any words till the ending. I know he’s in the popular drama Descendants of the sun which I probably won’t watch.
